Hampton Inn Doylestown

Pool was small but fine for kids and no hot tub. But adequate for our one night stay. I mean, it’s Warrington. So what’s there to say?

-The location was excellent - off the main road. -The chair in the room needed to be replaced, it falls back at the drop of a hat - rm-302. -Bath tub needs non-skid installed. -Roomwas very nice.

It was nice. My kids enjoyrd the hot tub. Nice area, lots of places to go within a coue of minutes drive.

I booked the hotel on 2/12 for my stay started on 2/16-2/18. I called the hotel on 2/12 and asked whether the swimming pool would be open during weekend. The hotel staff answered yes, but when we arrived, I asked again, they said no. Swimming pool was closed during my time there. If I knew that, I would not book this hotel. They offered us to go to Homesuite hotel which was 2 buildings away. We drove them at night because I had small kids and was freezing cold outside. We were let in to the swimming pool. We tested the pool water and we left since the pool water was cold. We were sad because the pool was not really quite heated, and we didn't get to swim at all. Back to Hampton Inn, when I showered, the shower curtain would keep opening on both end. It might due to the bathroom barn door leaving big gap between door and wall, and the air circulation in room blew the curtain open. Beware of water splashing. And the shower head kept making squeezing noise. Other than all these, the hotel was okay, and the included breakfast was okay.

We traveled to Doylestown for a family get together and celebration. I chose the Hampton Inn based on reviews online. The check in process was seamless. Our room had much to be desired. The toilet paper and tissues were almost empty and no refills were available in the room. The soaps in the shower were in need of refilling as well. The bathroom door was broken also. Upon registering for our 3 night stay, we didn't realize that we had to request the room be made up. We did for the second night but had to make the request several times. This too, led to our disappointment.
