Holiday Inn Express Bethlehem Airport - Allentown Area, an IHG Hotel

Clean rooms, great friendly staff, a wonderful stay for my family of 6!

It’s close to our family. The staff were very friendly and welcoming the hotel is was very clean and well kept. My only complaint was my room had a musty smell even though the room was very clean

I normally don't review but my experience at this property needed to be told. Woke up in the morning to a ton of large black ants in the bathroom. Makes one wonder where else the ants were as the carpeting etc is much harder to see. After killing them so my family could shower and get ready for the day we went to breakfast. Open the first tray of eggs and there was large long black hairs in the food. Other reviews said the food was good, the food was horrible. So at check out the person at the desk didn't offer a receipt so I had to ask for one. This is very abnormal practice as every customer should have the right to review any and all charges on the bill. When I told her about the ants her response was "we can spray", a lot of good that does for someone checking out. Also, the lack of empathy - no I'm sorry or anything. Then when I told her about the hair in the food her response was "Ok I'll let them know." Not a normal response. In my opinion I would advise anyone to avoid this property like the plague

I stayed in the property for a night with my family. It was a good experience overall.

When I arrived, I walked into a room where there was sticky residue left on the night table and the beds were clearly not serviced from the last guest. The sheets were untucked, dirty, and the comforter had just been thrown back over. The shower had mold growing around the edging. I called and the very kind man working that night immediately put me in another room and, because the elevator was not working, he even brought the keys. The new room was better, however, it was also problematic. There was clear mildew on the sheets and the shower curtain was disgusting to the point I didn’t want to touch it. The tub itself was quite stained with rust or something else. I understand that hotels get old and in a town known for steel there could be hard water problems causing rust. However, it seems that overall the housekeeping staff is doing a very poor job of cleaning and changing linens. The next morning at breakfast, there were a bunch of staff just standing around gossiping and talking about their night, talking about some inappropriate situations for some of the children in the room. Just classless. I won’t stay there again. But I do want to say that the gentleman working the desk the night of my stay was great. He’s the only person I can say I have any faith in there.

The Holiday Inn Express Bethlehem Airport is the BEST hotel in the area. We come to Bethlehem frequently to visit our son who is attending Moravian University and this hotel is the BEST option for our family. The staff is WONDERFUL (I HIGHLY recommend asking for Rojo), the facility is clean, inviting, and comfortable, and the overall feeling that you get when you are are first greeted at the hotel keeps us coming back. Well Done Holiday Inn Express! This hotel of your chain is most definitely a hidden gem in the Lehigh Valley.

It was an easy and quick check in and check out. There is a designated van for airport transport. My family from out of state and out of the country previously attended a party and we all decided to have a nightcap at the hotel. A friendly staff at the reception area offered my whole family perks which we politely declined while we were discussing family matters. The bedroom was clean and adequate. The hotel offered hot breakfast the next morning. A lot of choices too. One thing that stand out was this lady staff who would check each chafing dish to ensure that it was full even with just 30 more minutes before breakfast closes. Thank you so much. Would stay here again😉

Really wonderful staff at this clean and convenient hotel. IHG has moved to eco-friendly liquid handsoap and lotion, shampoo and cream rinse but was happy to provide individual toiletries upon request. Towels were a bit worn and functional v luxurious, same for pillows. Bed comfortable and rooms clean, breakfast included with wide variety of options. Swimming pool a big hot with several families and well-appointed workout room.

The breakfast was very nice with lots of options for the whole family. The staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable, but my sheets had bumpy pills on them which I could feel. I was disappointed that the carpet in my room was not very well cleaned, and there were crumbs and chips on the floor. The conditioner in shower did not work and there were hairs and some dirt on shower wall. There were many places close by for shopping and dining. Overall, I would probably stay again, but I would check those things in my room first next time and ask for a different room if not meeting expectations!

I love this hotel me and my family always stay here when visiting PA. But this time around the lady in the front during the morning time was not so welcoming. She was very rude at times.
