Flagship Inn of Ashland

The heated clean pool was the best, along with the beautiful new patio and grilling option. Beautifully kept grounds around the property. Just be aware that there’s a small town “night club” across the parking lot. The noise didn’t wake the kids and a pair of earplug would work fine but did notice the late night beats.

Nice family and facility

Amazing place to wind down in Ashland. Hotel staff is nice and pleasing. Had a good breakfast items. Room is good size for a family stay and it was neat.

So many issues. 1)not accessible. I was on crutches and made them change our room because there was no elevator and I couldn’t have safely made it up the stairs. 2)Not clean. We got to our room and there was a mound of hair in the shower and hair all over the toilet. It was gross. They cleaned the room again while we were at dinner. The next morning we found out that the Keurig in the room hadn’t been cleaned out from previous guest (pod still there). Pretty gross since they had done a second cleaning. I’m sure it’s a breeding ground for mold and bacteria. 3) toilet was not anchored to the floor. It moved around all over when we sat on it. 4)The door to the private room in our mini suite didn’t close. While the decor is nice, it’s obvious that it’s lipstick on a pig. Maintenance is lacking. The pool was quite warm and the kids enjoyed it. The beds were about average. Nothing to write home about. What saves this place from getting a really crappy grade is the service. The lady at the desk was super friendly even though she was super swamped and she addressed the cleanliness issues promptly. However, we won’t be staying here again.

Just one night while traveling home. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and the family that manages it were super sweet. Highly recommend for an affordable place to stay.
