After a bumpy start (the room type we were promised upon booking was apparently located below ground level with stairs only (no elevator down), unbeknownst to us— not ideal for a family with small child and loads of luggage…) but the front desk agent finally was able to offer another room type after noting our desperation. The room was wonderful and quiet with a great comfy bed. The breakfast was surprisingly wonderful (make your own Belgian waffle!) and staff very kind. This hotel is pretty secluded right off the highway - nowhere near downtown Ashland - but we didn’t mind the drive to the “cool” side of town.

I stayed with my 3 kids for 4 nights.. The beds were comfy and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had 2 queen beds, so it was not spacious as I had thought but enough room for our stuff. The free breakfast was great, enjoyed the hot and cold selections. The pool was good, water was a little cool. My only complaint would be the design of the sink or faucet. The counter would get wet every time we use it. But not a big deal since there was plenty of clean towels. I would probably stay again for the price.

When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and "hello's". I have a bad back and needed help bringing my 3 cats in. They helped me, were patient when it was difficult to get the cats out and they did not expect a tip. My stay was an unexpected emergency due to the fact that the place I was moving into was not ready and the owner had not let me know so I had no extra money or cash. The breakfast is a full breakfast and good. The breakfast room is nice. My room was clean with nice towels and a comfortable king size bed with a lot of pillows(as it should be). The hotel has easy access to the highway which is convenient for some but too highway noisy for others. I recommend this hotel for travelers with families or people on business or for someone like me who isn't in need of the proper tourist experience.

Our family of 4 drove over 5 hours on our way to this hotel. The staff were very nice and friendly. It is an older hotel and we showed up during a wind event. It was not the hotels fault 50 mh gust wind was hitting the window all night. Didnt have a chance to try the pool but it was 24 hrs. The breakfast room was nice and the food great. Lots of options. I liked how the room was set up with the sink area outside of the shower area. Helped us get ready for bed . Great stay, will book again.

The property is modern. The breakfast was very good. My friend found a few bugs in her room. The power was out for many hours one night but that was not the fault of the family.

Service was fine. Room was acceptable for the price point. Very nosy children in the room above me made sleep difficult.

We had two adjoining rooms. In one the shower wasn't working, in the other the shower didn't drain. The first shower was fixed on day 2. The one that didn't drain was never able to be snaked sufficiently. Room floors were never vacuumed in between guests. Evidenced by what was found under the chairs and beds. Plus, I never heard them running when the rooms were getting turned over. The "business center" was down the entire time we were there (3 nights). The hot tub was down the first night, after it was fixed the temp was warm but jets never worked. Breakfast was decent. On first morning one of the two waffle makers wasn't working. The other mornings consisted of unsupervised children (below the ages of 10) helping themselves to the food and waffle maker (dangerous!). They were all without socks and shoes. Poor parenting, but the hotel should have age/supervision requirements. Same for the pool, there was not an enforced expectation that children had adults present. The staff were all very friendly though!

I was checked in by Josh. A very pleasant welcoming staff member!! When we arrived Josh was having to deal with a very irate older woman who complained that multiple nights people were pounding on doors and kept her awake. Josh kept asking if she called down to the desk so that they could try to help resolve the issue. And she hadn't called. He handled this lady in the most professional soothing manner. Even though we knew she wasn't going to give up because as soon as we checked in she was back at the desk complaining.
Our room was quiet and very comfortable.
The only downside was in the morning at breakfast. We could hear loud voices as we enter the door and realized it was a young family who unfortunately let their kids scream and run around the room. We got our food and we're about to sit down when the dad brought in the son who was coughing and coughing and coughing and coughing it almost sounded like croup. We took our food and left. And so it goes.
