Hyatt Place Tulsa/South-Medical District

There was construction and the pool was closed. No warning on the site. Disappointing as kids love to swim

I get this property is under construction which contributed to the noise and dust around the property. However, I should've been warned well in advance, like at booking, that that was the case. Aside from the construction, the desk in our room was barely standing on its own; the bathroom floor was dirty; and the halls were ho, as were the elevators -- not something I want to come back to in June in Tulsa. This used to be a wonderful property to stay at when our kids were younger. Clearly something has changed and it is not for the better.

My bed wasn't made and I had to make it myself there was a new lady there who was very rude and had a problem with me asking for 5 blankets when it was myself my mom and 4 of my children there and the lady seriously checked my room number like I was lying and so I was very disappointed in this stay and hope they re-train her because she was the only one that made my stay bad plus the customer service wasn't the same and it took them longer to give my money back after we completed the stay

Check in was very smooth, staff were super nice. Hotel was under construction but that did not affect our stay at all. Our room was just ok. Our family travels a lot for our daughter’s dance and we’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, this was ok. It was not the worst place we have ever stayed. The room was set up weird with a wall between the couch and beds. The tv was in between and so it was awkward to watch tv from both places. The beds were small but comfortable. Pillows were comfy. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast a few hot options and the regular toast, bagels, etc.

Pros, Nice rooms and overall clean and comfortable. Cons, needs working elevators, breakfast was all bread, coffee was etremely weak. Priced right but be prepared for loud kids runing up and down the hallways.

All great. Use it when family is in St. Francis Hospital. Convenient and cheaper than Doubletree.

Our stay at the Hyatt Place in Tulsa was a good experience. The hotel was comfortable, neat, and clean; and the staff was courteous and helpful. The free breakfast was enjoyable (not classy food but more than adequate for free). The only thing I was disappointed with was in the bathroom. The shower/tub caulking looked old and was peeling. The shower fixtures were old (stiff to turn, didn't take a polish, and just seemed/felt old and needing replacement). Everything else was great. I really loved the size of the room and the way the living area was separated from the sleeping area. (Not completely separate but divided by a partial wall.) My wife and I traveled with a young child (2 years old), and staff brought in a crib for our son to sleep on. We were able to keep the crib far enough away from the king bed that our getting up/getting ready for bed did not wake him.

The bedding was stained, the bedding was old. The room wasnt clean. On checkout day, which is 12pm, a housekeeper tried to walk into our room at 9:15am. I was still sleeping. My husband and I work alot of hours and on top of seeing our family we wanted some much needed rest. Good thing he was already up and dressed. When I went to the desk to complain he said well we have a short time to get the rooms clean. I dont care we paid until 12 and to have someone open the door is uncalled for. the refrigerator didnt work either. They said they put another one in but it never got cold. We have stayed before and was pleased but We wont ever be staying there again.

Great hotel, friendly service, and nice and spacious for our family.
