Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Mason

Mostly clean room (needed vacuumed) Check in was such a routine for this guy he just flew threw his speech and was real smug when I didn't know what room names mean at this property. He told me no housekeeping. We still out up the do not disturb on the door. Housekeeping *tried* to barge through our door. Thankfully we had locked the door and I was awake to could calm my family down.

The staff are kind. The breakfast is nice. Plenty of time to eat and places to set. Offered a complimentary water upon arrival Nice look when you walk in. Rooms were nice not brand new of course but clean and a decent size. Our only issue was we had wished to swim and we couldn't due to so many kids in the pool but we dont fault anyone foe that. Simply means the hotel is kid friendly That did also make the pool turn a bit green. Again. That cant really be helped. I would definitely stay again.

We chose the Hampton Inn from the list of Peloton hotels so we could continue our rides while visiting family. We found the bike with a pedal broken. Hotel’s solution when pointed out was to remove the bike from the gym. Unacceptable. Was not as advertised Hotel desperately needs new pillows. Very old, flat and uncomfortable. Otherwise a decent stay. Good breakfasts.

Nice and quiet. Furnishings were very updated! Only complaint is all the pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was a typical breakfast and kids liked the waffle maker.

We enjoyed our time here. My only complaint is we were not able to access the initial room we were assigned. The staff could not get the door lock to work and had to re-assign us another room on a different floor. Other than that, my family had a great time.

We just stayed overnight. We didn’t use the pool or eat breakfast so I can’t say much about that stuff. The hotel sets off the road which was nice and quiet. It was a clean hotel. During check in there was a group of boys playing games in the lobby and were very loud cheering and yelling. The gentleman working the front desk apologized to us about it and asked them to quiet down several times and they didn’t even the parents told them too and they didn’t. A lady come out and the front clerk told her. She went and talked with them and they quieted down. I didn’t hear what she said but she wasn’t loud with them and seemed to be pleasant with them. We were worried that it may have been along night with a group of kids (more were checking in when we arrived) but we didn’t hear anything in our room or when we were in the hallway. When we got to our a 2 Queen Studio it was very spacious. The sofa bed was very comfortable and the couch was big. The AC was set to 70 and it was freezing (most hotels it is hot in your room even at 65). The parking lot had plenty of room. There I would totally recommend this hotel. All the staff we talked with were very polite.

The only problem that we had was with the pool. My three grandchildren spent an hour in the pool before they started to complain about not being able to breath. They could not take deep breaths into their lungs before coughing. I used to handle liquid and gas chlorine as part of my job. I have been to many different types of training that had to do with Chlorine. This was a clear case of Chlorine Toxicity as the level were so high it was affecting their ability to breath. I immediately took them out and went back to our room and had them all take showers and wash their hair. All three of their swimsuits were bleached lighter because of the high levels of chlorine in the water. Their hair was stiff and hard to comb through even with leave in conditioner. The next morning I went and talked to the Manager and he said that he would have his pool guy look at it. Next thing we see is the door to the pool propped open. After breakfast, I went up to the front desk to tell them we were checking out a day early as this day was the last day of our vacation and all we had planned to do was to hang around the pool all day. That was not going to happen now as the pool had to much chlorine in the water. Expedia... please reach out to me if you have any further questions. They gave us a dirty room at check in, so they had to move us to another room which was very small not what i had booked. We were seperated from our family and thier room also had issues. Our shower had hair in it and so did 1 of the beds, the hair was black and definitely not ours.

Great one night stay close to Kings Island for our family of 5.
