Candlewood Suites Cincinnati Northeast-Mason, an IHG Hotel

My family really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious. The bed was great. The pool was nice and warm. Plenty of food options nearby and an ice cream shop right beside it you can walk to. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was decent. We didnt check in until very late after a day at Kings Island. Check in was easy and quick. It was 9 minutes from Kings Island, so it was an easy and convenient drive. We needed the sleeper sofa because we had 5 people. The extra pillow for the sofa had black hair all over it which was pretty disgusting, but we were exhausted, so used one from the bed. The bathroom door locked itself with nobody in the bathroom, but we were able to use a credit card to open the lock. Around 10 am, someone (i assume it was staff) opened our door for a moment amd stepped inside the room. They immediately walked out, but ny kids were a bit startled. It was average

The loby is beautiful. The staff, especially reception, is so friendly and welcoming. The beds and pillows were so comfy! Loved the Dove products in the shower. Room was spacious, almost like an apartment. However, the surfaces and dishes were not clean (finger prints, smudges, crumbs). I had to clean the counters and tables when we got there because they were so dirty. The pool was also in desperate need of a cleaning. Other guests, probably kids, had etched their names and little doodles in the grime on the tiles surrounding the pool. Hallways smelled of smoke. The room smelled nice though!

One of the nicest family rooms we’ve stayed in! Everything is super clean and the staff have been amazing! 10/10 would stay here again!

The staff here was awesome! I had 4 grandkids with me & they were very attentive to our needs!

My family of 6 stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. There was plenty of room for a short stay. The bathroom counter was large, which was nice with two teen girls. I appreciated that they had a laundry basket to keep our dirties separate. The bathroom was small, but liked that the sink and mirror was not behind a door with the toilet and shower. We also enjoyed the indoor pool.

The Lobby is undergoing a major renovation. Boxes and workers were everywhere. It was difficult to access the elevators since the workers were also using them. Our room had a huge red stain on the carpet. The porcelain toilet cover didn't fit since it was for the wrong toilet. We took out 3 rooms for our family to stay there. Embarrassing. We have stayed here many times when it was the Hyatt Place since it was so nice. It may be nice again once the transformation is complete, but as of now it should be closed.

It was supposed to be smoke free and it was full of smoke my face was completely broke out my kids was coughing like crazy cause of the smoke. They was renovating and it was not on website cause I would not have booked there. The pool was disgusting full of spiders and water was green. Just over all nasty and room was over priced and small the bathroom you could even move in crammed. Horrible and if I could have canceled I would have but was there for kids tournament.

The staff at check-in completely ignored me while they sat on their phone. Another family came downstairs as I was checking in to say someone else was already in the room they were assigned - that was terrifying and very concerning. The lobby was completely under construction and smelled bad. Our room was very dirty - stains on the floor, sheets, and curtains. There was hair in the bed and on the pillows and a dead bug on the bathroom floor. It was very obvious this room was not cleaned. The desk chair and the shower door were both broken. The couch was damp. There was a trash can full of trash right outside the door to our room that smelled terrible. We arrived late (11pm) or I would never have stayed here. We were woken up by drilling and very loud construction noises at 7am. I complained to Expedia and fortunately they switched us to another hotel immediately. Do not book a stay here!!!

We stayed here with our three little kids (6 and under) for one night as we were driving through. We thought by spending a little extra that it would be worth the spend. The room was dirty. The sheets had stains and it looked and smelled like some of the pillows were not even washed. The drain in the shower would not work. We were charged $170 for a night and were highly disappointed. They should consider dropping the price especially since they are currently doing construction in the lobby. Chose somewhere different!
