Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Marysville, an IHG Hotel

Overall it was a good stay, they were remodeling, room was very clean, staff are polite and friendly, the pool was warm and kids love it, the bed was comfy, breakfast was okay but prefer waffles instead of pancakes (machine was slow and ran out), same breakfast everyday. I don’t know how often they clean the room, we arrived Friday night, no one clean our room Saturday when we were out ( told staff room needed to clean), room wasn’t clean when we came back, had to ask for new towels, told reception on Sunday about room, they cleaned bathroom, changed trash can and made bed but didn’t vacuum.

Nice overnight staycation. It is in the center of everything but far enough away that you don't have traffic noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool was warm. Breakfast was good, and the kids loved the pancake machine. They are currently under renovation, but it didn't impact our stay at all, and the place could use a little of a freshen-up. Nice having inroom coffee, fridge and microwave. We'll be back

We specifically stay at Holiday Inn Express everywhere we go because it's always a good experience, until now. We just needed a place to get some rest after a day at the water park with the kids. It was kinda late when we got there and notice mold on the shower walls and water dripping on the toilet/floor. The hotel was booked and kids were tired so we just dealt with it. Middle of the night, bathroom was soaked. Opened the toilet lid to catch some of it. Heard that dripping all night. Couldn't use it without getting rained on by gross water so we had to walk to the bathroom by the front desk each time. It was gross. No toilet paper. Then come morning time the table and everything on it was covered in hundreds ants. Such a disgusting and disappointing experience and couldn't get out of there quick enough. When we talked to the front desk, twice, we were told Oh Sorry We'll put in a work order. We have a couple more weekend trips coming up and planned on using IHG but now I'm not sure. Definitely won't be using the one in Marysville ever again.

Slamming doors, kids screaming and crying, I opened my door and immediately smelled weed (not that I care but seriously). I told front desk about everything and they didn’t do anything or even seemed to care.

Had a great time with family. The service was good hot breakfast great overall good stay
