It was a very nice hotel. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was great! The only thing was that the pool was closed and we had 3 kids so it stinks because we were looking forward to that

I paid in full for a room reserved for one night. There was no mini bar, no room service ordered, no extra toiletries ordered, etc. My family and I did not break anything, we picked up after ourselves put all garbage in the trashcan, etc. AFTER we checked out they charges us an additional $46 and change. How crooked can the place be? We will be fighting that charge! Do NOT stay here!!!!

I was really surprised by the high rating on this hotel, which is one of the reasons we decided to book. I probably would not have been as disappointed with our stay if my expectations were more realistic, which is why I decided to write my review. First of all the good things! The large room with a semi-divided living area was fabulous, especially for families like ours with kids that need to sleep earlier. Bedtime is normally so hard to manage in a regular hotel room, but this gave the adults a place to hang out after putting the little one to bed. All the staff was very friendly, too. No complaints about any of the people! The bad: I don’t know if our room was a one-off for them, but it was not very clean. There was pet hair in the carpet, a streaked mirror, and a dirty bathtub floor. I didn’t feel comfortable bathing my child there, so we just postponed kid baths until we moved on to our next place on our trip. One of our bath towels had a large rip in it, too. The bed was terribly hard and uncomfortable, inhibiting quality sleep for both of us. Breakfast was ok, but needed improvement. The first floor hall carpet needs to be replaced. When I checked out, I was asked if we said anything so they could take care of it, but honestly we were on the go so much for our short stay that we didn’t. I do think they would have addressed whatever they could have controlled, as customer service seemed good, but some things would have been out of one person’s ability.
