Comfort Inn & Suites

The property was nice. The staff was friendly. It is a pet friendly hotel. I was put on the first floor which was nice except for the two barking dogs on the same wing as we were. There was also some noisy children running up and down our the corridor outside our room. We went to bed at 9:30 pm. We woke up shortly there after with noisy children and barking dogs. Hotel lost power early morning of our departure. We could not shower because it was dark in the bathroom. They did manage to have coffee and food but the dining area was dark. We got a cup of coffee to go. The staff did as well as they could under the circumstances. There was no offer of some compensation for the inconvenience of not being able to bath. Apparently the entire area lost power. My thought were why didn't they have a back up generator? I will make sure in the future to not book a pet friendly hotel. I would not eliminate this hotel chain. I just wouldn't book with them if they are pet friendly.

The check in was pleasant and quick. Me and my two small kids got a suite. I had assumed since there a fridge and microwave (and that it was a suite) it would at least have some plastic cutlery in the room. The extra door lock on top was barely on. I kept hearing gunshots nearby and some commotion on my floor (not the hotels fault, obviously). The pool was big (the kids really enjoyed that as well as the hot tub). The breakfast was really good too! Staff was very friendly.
