Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Port Clinton, OH

We reserved 2 rooms . We had to sleep 3 adults and 3 kids in one room. Hitel blamed it on Hotels .com. I provided proof but didn’t help. Hotel was sokd out. Very rough night for an 83 yr old!

Friendly staff my kid got to act like a adult asking for extra have coffee hot coco and even cookies that were fresh for guest. Hreat warm breakfast and wonderful rooms and the pool is like rounded around the whole edge was a great stay! Recommended for families for sure

We stay here every time we come to see family and I love the staff each and every time.

Sheets did not fit the bed AT ALL. Hair throughout the bathroom when we checked in. Toilet should have been replaced during renovation. Toilet was like a child's size. New sink counter should have been raised up to fit current standards during renovation.

We stayed for one night with our small children. The location was right off the highway and there is ample parking. The building was very quiet and the staff was friendly. The property and room were as expected and described but we had a couple inconveniences. We tried to check in 40 mins after the stated check in time and the room wasn’t ready yet, this was fine but required changing plans around. The pool was also unavailable for cleaning during our stay. The room was nice; however, there was leftover milk in the refrigerator and a swimsuit top left in the room from a previous guest.

Justin was very nice and helped our family of 15 out. Our entire family loves to sit down and talk and tell stories. He allowed us in the breakfast room. I would consider opening that us for people to sit in and do work or chat with family since there really isn’t a place to sit and chat. The outdoor patio is nice but it’s so close to people’s rooms that it can be disturbing.

Always helpful and brought towels when we asked. Would prefer trash pick up each day and pool water appeared cloudy but kids did enjoy the pool. Spacious bathroom with sink separate. Comfy beds! Best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Will be returning

Rooms were clean and shower was very soothing. Beds were not as comfortable as I had hoped but for the price, we had a decent stay. However, we booked 2 rooms many months ago and at check-in were given 2 rooms on same floor except one room had access to an adjoining room but that other room had a different family in it and the hotel was not willing to move them because they had been there "for a while". So our second room was down the hall and we had to keep going back and forth knocking or propping the door open with the swing bar to keep communicating with our other family members. The problem we had with this stay is this...if you have a family requesting 2 rooms...SEVERAL months in advance, the hotel should make EVERY effort to reserve the "adjoining rooms" for anyone needing that specific option and put the other family of 4 in a room that doesn't have that option. How the hotel couldn't make room preference work for us over a "single room" family, I'll never understand. The front desk lady did matter of factly show me the hotel room layout to prove to me all the adjoining rooms were taken. It's not about the map, its about the booking of assigned rooms. I was sweetly asking if we could move rooms and the lady did not apologize just whipped her map out. I recommend this hotel make every effort in the future to use the adjoining rooms for the purpose they are made for.

I appreciate Allen at the front desk. He was very accommodating. Allen allowed my family an early check-in. Made my check-in effortless. I would stay at the country Inn and suites hotel again with recommendations. Maddie my house keeper did an outstanding job keeping room clean and comfortable.

My kids and I had a great stay. Good location close to Cedar Point. Clean room, but could have had more towels in the bathroom as it only had 2 bath towels, but sleeps more people. Beds were comfortable, pool was warm, and breakfast was tasty with a lot of choices.
