Homewood Suites by Hilton Cleveland-Beachwood

I made a reservation in April at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, Beachwood, OH, location for my birthday in July. The reservation process & confirmation ph calls were great. The front desk personnel via the phone were very courteous & helpful. When prompted by email/text to check-in the night before, I was not able to. Curiously, I was able to select my room, but the digital check-in & digital key options were not functioning. Upon arrival, there were guests waiting for their rooms to be readied, & I was third in line. The suite that I had reserved wasn't ready, so I was offered another one 'exactly the same'. Then the suite was changed again! It took a 'minute' to get me registered & program the room keys. Very nice front desk ladies, but slow. The main elevator was out, so it was a long walk to the rear elevator, & another long walk back to my suite. The suite was very spacious & comfortable. Having a kitchen complete with dishes & utensils was great! The cleanliness of the pullout couch pillows & mattress (stained), & the cleanliness of the master bathroom floor, was not the best. Also, the master bedroom had a big empty space in it where a comfortable chair & sidetable should have been placed. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, but could use a little love for the nicks in the woodwork & furniture, & cleanliness. Pool & hot tub were great! Complimentary towels were a plus. Checkout was fast & easy. The family enjoyed their stay, & I would stay their again.

We stayed there for a family trip! We had a suite. It was perfect. Bed was so comfortable. it was quiet at night. The surrounding area was clean, and safe, with food options were good. Right next to the highway which makes it easy to go to tourist attractions.

I had booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite for my family of 5 to break up a long road trip we were taking. I spend a lot of time reading reviews to make an effort to book the cleanest hotel possible. My room was on the 6th floor. The room was spacious for us all- but it was very… sticky… :-( the kitchen floor was sort of gross- you could find things stuck to the wall- there were a pile of food crumbs underneath one of the chairs in the living room. This was 300 for just one night and I was not happy. My parents room was on the 2nd floor which seemed in far better condition than mine. The bed my 7 year old was sleeping had a brown stain on the comforter- I couldn’t tell if it was unwashed or if it was just stained but I made her sleep with the blankets we brought. My kids wanted to swim in the pool and the pool was FILTHY. Anywhere you walked in the pool you could see your footprints as there was a thick dirty film all over the pool floor. I was honestly shocked at how disgusting it was. I couldn’t relax since we had the baby and there just wasn’t anyplace she could crawl without me worrying about what she was going to touch. There was also a hotel party or something in a room nearby ours and the hotel floor reaked of weed. I know that part isn’t the hotels part but the lack of cleanliness is.

Stayed there with my family to observe the eclipse. Although they were busy with the eclipse, they accommodated an early check in for us. Hotel was clean, and they had decorations for the eclipse with some eclipse-themed snacks for the kids. Breakfast was good and they had complimentary snacks and drinks in the rooms. We enjoyed staying there.

The room was amazing but when we arrived around 4:30pm our room, as well as 5-6 other customer’s rooms, were NOT ready. Nothing was done about it other than having us wait in the lobby. We had children with us so waiting in the lobby for an extra amount of time after the check in time had passed was not acceptable.

Loved this place. Everyone was friendly. They all had a genuine smile 😊. Spoke to us like family. The lady that did breakfast was wonderful. She made sure we were all cared for. Helped with the little kiddos. She was like going to Grandma's house. Not one person could leave hungry

The hotel was super busy. There.was.31 kids in the pool.10 kids in the hot tub...I spent.250 to.take my son swimming on his 10th bday and it was almost impossible to emjoy the pool and when we tried to relax in the room....there must have been a party in the hallway...we barely got to sleep.before.4.AM and slept past breakfast. Woke up in a rush and unrested.

We came for a get away and the pool and hot tub was over run by kids with no supervision and they kept letting other kids sneak in the back door to swim. When my husband and I tried to relax in the hot tub the kids kept shutting off the bubbles and wanted us to leave.

Had a lovely stay with family. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the people were wonderful.

Great stay kids had a ball!!!
