Hyatt Place Columbus/Polaris

We stayed in a suite which was plenty spacious for 2 adults and two children. The wifi was spotty as was controlling the ac temp in the bedroom. There is a dishwasher if your willing to bring your own dishes! We used the pool briefly because it was so hot and combined with the smell of chlorine it was enough to knock you out! (The pool isn't as large as the picture shows) The location is excellent as was the staff and service.

My husband and I stayed here for a concert. We arrived, room was very clean and ready for us. We had a 2 queen bed room. Was decently spacious. However the walls in this hotel are so thin it makes your stay miserable. All we heard was others conversations, TVs & toilets are so loud you hearing them flushing all night. If you flush your toilet you’re waking everyone up. That makes your stay miserable. Our tv was on volume 3 and it would be heard by other guests. However yes the room was extremely clean & pretty decent customer service the only issue I had with customer service was nobody on the night shift or any housekeepers really spoke English so it’s hard if you need toilet paper etc . And the area seems very safe, Outback Steakhouse in the hotels lot, and a Starbucks next door , But however the cons are when you pay to stay in a room and can’t even have a private conversation or watch tv on a very low volume that’s crazy. You can’t even flush the toilet because your scared of someone complaining. I would not stay here again because of that problem. Definitely not a place to bring kids.

Friendly front desk staff the day of arrival. Very nice room and clean. Went to get breakfast with my family for the “complimentary breakfast “ at 8. Ran from 6:30-9, everything was GONE, people in a frantic, not even silverware,coffee,barely anything but cereal and bread. Guest alerted staff right away but they appeared aloof and unprepared, and unable to address the issue. My advice would be don’t book here if this is important to you.

Shampoo dried my hair out, bring your own. Only complaint. Front desk was helpful, very clean, kids loved indoor pool. Great price for two nights and had a family of five. One lady gave us ideas to see art. Front desk was very friendly.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for short or long stays. Every area we went to was always clean and neat. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and lasted long enough to enjoy in the mornings. Pool area was large and perfect for my 3 kids. The gym has several pieces of equipment, one of which was a cable machine! Our room was very clean and spacious. Perfect for what we needed. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and pleasant as well. In fact, every staff member we encountered were helpful and friendly. We didn't have any issues or complaints that needed addressed during our stay.

The staff was super nice, check in was simple and easy and the parking was great. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed and we most likely will book another stay there sometime in the next 6 months. We wanted to get away from the kids, for 1 night. It was far enough, yet close enough too. It was an enjoyable experience the bed was to die for; so comfortable.
