Homewood Suites by Hilton West Fargo Sanford Medical Center

All treadmills shorted out. Trash around the outdoor areas. Room not ready at 3pm. Had to wait 90 minutes. Bureaus in rooms fall over if all drawers are out. Very unsafe for kids.pool dirty.

The staff was so nice! They were welcoming from the get go, when we did not have enough supplies in the room for the number of people we had, they kindly gave us more. The continental breakfast was awesome! The room was spacious, enough room to move around with 2 adults and 4 kids. The two TVs was a plus! Not having to argue over which show to watch or cartoons! The hotel was plenty busy and we had no issues hearing other people within our room. The beds were comfy! The only negative was the pool was closed, but we were able to use double trees. If we need a hotel in a future this is definitely one we would return too!

The sheets had “poop marks” as my kids called it- I needed to change the sheets before sleeping. The whirlpool was down- had to go next door for this. Staff was great.

Lady at the front desk was great, help me get on the internet. But is was all downhill after that. Our room was so dirty. Ice/water left in the ice container. Crumbs all over the sitting room. Black sticky goop on the table, and a dirty washcloth beside the sink/wall - on the floor. Crazy for $165!! I wanted to complain - but I made the reservation thru a “3rd party” (Hotels.com), so I knew they wouldn’t refund me. The breakfast ladies we were helpful with the waffles, my grandkids were so excited for waffles!!

Facility is very clean. Amazing staff at the breakfast buffet. Two tv's in the room with decent channel selection is a bonus. It also gives the option for the kids to watch their own tv. Comfy bed. I really enjoyed my stay with my wife and kids.

Easy location, clean hotel, quiet area. My kids wished the pool was bigger, and there were some common areas that stayed dirty for our whole trip.

Looks like a great hotel, but the problems started right after check in. We stayed for 3 nights. The room wasn’t very clean and there were no towels in the room. Took the kids swimming and no towels were down there either. They have a nice little shelf for them but it was empty. The first morning we went downstairs for breakfast the workers handling the breakfast was very unfriendly. You could see an annoyed look on her face any time some one was in her way a little. The only time I seen her smile was when she was on her phone. The pool was my biggest problem. The pool hrs are from 7am-11pm. Well every morning and I mean every morning a maintenance guy closes the pool from 715 until well the earliest we got in was 9am one morning. The latest one morning I checked at 1030 and it was still closed. So from 7am until the pool opened I had my kids asking me if the pool was open yet. “Here’s an idea do your maintenance outside of the hrs it’s supposed to be open. I’ve never stayed at a hotel and had this problem. Another bad was someone’s dog pooped in the hallway on our floor, it was hard getting around it to get to the elevators. I called the front desk and it took over 3 hrs for it to get cleaned up. I will not be staying here again.
