Nice, clean and convenient to INCW… our mainstay hotel when visiting our kid.

We had close to a $1000 worth of outdoor gear stolen from our truck. The theives even went through my kids beach toys to find the battery charger for my boat motor. After calling the front desk I was dismissed and told to just call the police.

Great location, very clean and attentive staff. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to families looking for a hotel withing a 15 minute drive to the beach.

We were disappointed with the level of cleanliness in our room. The guests before us clearly had a pet also stay and the room and couch were not vacuumed at a level that returned the room to a clean state for us. As more hotels become dog friendly perhaps floors dedicated for families with dogs traveling would help, or a better vacuum!

We stayed one night to visit our Marine son living closely at Camp Lejeune. We booked a suite for 6 people. It worked for our blended and large family and our small dog. It was clean. We arrived at 5, dropped luggage and left for dinner, sightseeing etc and returned to get ready for bed and sleep around 10:30. At 11 pm right after falling asleep we get a call from the front desk to notify us that our neighbors below complained of noise like we were jumping up and down for extended time. I hardly think 30 minutes to cycle 6 through showers and lay down is extensive or disruptive. Walls are thin. It is a multi-floor hotel. I was completely shocked by the invasive and unnecessary phone call from desk. Additionally we were given a hard time when I called to inquire about extending check out time. I was told hard no only because I wasn’t some rewards member. In the end I was charged half a night’s stay to extend by an hour so we could spend a couple hours at beach and then cycle 6 thru showers. The extension of courtesy After our invasive complaint call would have been appropriate. But more than that, we explained this was a quick visit with our Military son (who needed a pick between up for mental sake); it seems quite unreal that we could have only been given a courtesy for being a rewards member and not simply knowing these were special circumstances involving military family. I will make it a point to NEVER visit any Home 2 for these reasons again.

I was looking for something with something more then a mini refrigerator so we could do a little more eating from the room. This hotel gave more then I ever expected. The one flaw way they would not clean the room. We (2adults, 4 kids) stayed for 5 night, 6 days and we needed some room service. The picture of the pool is very misleading, as it was a small pool but the kids had fun.

This was our 1st time in Wilmington. I was searching online for a hotel after we decided to do a quick mini family vacation to Wrightsville Beach. So happy I came across your establishment. AMAZING and we will be back!!!

A nice room, spacious with full fridge, dishwasher. The curtain to divide from sofabed if traveling with kids. Room was pretty clean, which is become rare these days in half cleaning and short staffs. Only issue was very loud A/C - drown out tele & convo. I appreciated location (convenient) despite traffic. Layout in lobby a bit strange - you walk around or weave thru dining area to get to service desk, which a bit congested in mornings.
