We had a family emergency & after driving from Texas to NC, we arrived exhausted and was told they had no room for us. Then, they were difficult in working with hotels.com so our refund could be processed. Terrible experience

Problems checking in. Reserved a room with a King Bed with a double sofa bed for two adults and two children. Received a King bed and a twin sofa bed. Asked to change rooms and initially by a staff member told had to contact Travelocity and rebook. Another very helpful staff member was then able to change our room but we ended up in a room with two double beds. Not what we wanted or requested, as we walked into our new room but accepted due to tight schedule. Will be a tight sleep for two adults in a double bed. Dissatisfied.

My family and I have stayed at this same hotel for our past 3 vacations. We LOVE everything about it. From the staff to the location, to the price, it's all in one. We plan on continuing to stay on future vacations.

Very disappointed. Our family of four was staying there for a couple days of beach vacation. We got a king sized bed and there was a pull out couch that was a twin bed (could not fit two people). No extra bed was brought in for our fourth person. It couldn't fit. They gave us extra pillows for my daughter to sleep on the floor. And they couldn't change our reservation at all because we booked through a third party (Hotels.com). Handle on sliding door outside wasn't connected either. Also no breakfast included with your stay. Very disappointed.

Overall cleanliness in the room was good. same in the hallways. The lobby needs some attention, coaches and other furniture looks very dirty and outdated. I traveled with my family, we were 4. Booked a 2 queen beds room. The beds are full at the best, very small for 2 adults. Room was a bit small, it wasn’t too terrible for us because we were there only one night. This is the second time I booked a room at Courtyard hotels and the beds in the room are full instead of queen as advertised. Previous one was in NY. If you’ve teenagers and planning to o stay for more than one night, maybe book somewhere else.
