Tru by Hilton Rocky Mount

We stayed there due to proximity of family members only to use the room to get some sleep and we were unable to due to kids running up and down the hallways all night and people partying late outside our window. No one controlled them and we didn't get any sleep. We will not be staying there again and we stay in town there 2 to 3 times a year.

Wonderful staff! Check in was quick and painless, breakfast staff were very accommodating and helped with two small kids, making sure I had water for formula and cleaning the high chair. Went and did that little extra and they cared that we enjoyed our stay, definitely staying at Tru again.

Awesome overnight stay while on business trip. Allowed family to visit comfortably.

I traveled with my family, husband and two kids. The room was very rundown. Dirty walls, the floors haven’t been cleaned properly. Beds old and outdated.

Room was clean, towels were clean, bedding was clean, and the service was phenomenal. Please take every review with a grain of salt, because myself and my family really enjoyed the stay. It was my halfway stop on our way to take my son to his AIT training at Ft. Lee after leaving Ft. Jackson. He has not had a good night sleep since before bootcamp and he said that the hotel was much needed and he enjoyed the breakfast vs his chowhall food. Lol Thank You for a good night's stay for myself and my son. He needed it.

The room was neat in appearance however, a more thorough cleaning needed to be done to the room. The floor had stains and crumbs present. So I’m not sure if it was swept/mopped properly. The nightstand and furniture needed to be dusted. I did like the modern minimalist room layout. Since our family was staying overnight I did not make a big deal about the cleaning since I bring my own wipes to wipe down certain things anyway. Being that our stay was during a holiday weekend they may have overlooked things that are normally in order due to having to turn the rooms quickly. Checkout is at 12 which is nice and the breakfast was decent. Unsure if I would stay again as the cleanliness the room is of the upmost importance for my stay.

Amazing overnight stay to visit family in Ny. Entire property is spotless. Great sleep in the most comfortable bed and best breakfast in any roadside Hotel experience. Friendly staff
