Holiday Inn Rocky Mount - US 64, an IHG Hotel

James at front desk and the other person were soo welcoming and pleasant and efficient. Our baby was throwing up at 2:30 am and the woman brought us clean sheets, towels, even a plastic bag to put out spilled clothes in plus crackers we asked for! The breakfast woman cleaned up all the mess the baby made with a smile The room cleaners were very kind, pool was COLD but we still got in Wonderful staff and breakfast buffet!! Thank you!!;););)

Super friendly staff, nice facility located right off 95. Rooms were a bit musty and one of the reasons we chose this location over the others was the indoor pool for the kids to burn some energy after a long day of traveling. I've never seen a worse hotel pool. Chipped paint and the coldest water. Kids were so disappointed and I wished I had known this before booking the stay.

I like the convenience to Highway 64 while visiting with family. I didn't like the breakfast at the Bistro. It took some time to get our breakfast when there were few people in the restaurant. The staff at the front desk was helpful.

There's a quality rarely found anymore that never goes out of style and that's called courtesy. Our little family had quite a turbulent journey traveling through 6 states through steady thunderstorms and downpour. We knew that we were going to be very late pulling in to Rocky Mount, so we phoned the hotel to ensure that our reservation might remain intact. Well, not only was it intact, but we received about a million dollars worth of empathy and understanding from a young lady by the name of Wanda. She verified our reservation, advised us not to rush, asked that we drive safely, and that she'd extend a late checkout to us for our troubles. When we arrived my wife, disabled daughter and I met this gem of a young person and she only validated our aforementioned sentiments that much more. Holiday Inn will remain our "go to" hotel from now on due to their ability to hire people such as this young peach of a person and the like. "So shines a good deed in a weary world."

Great room in a beatiful modern hotel. My family and I stopped in for the night on our way back home to NY from Florida. We were tempted on staying a second day. The bed was very comfortable and the room contained a flat screen tv and a great clean bathroom, which is always something we look for in a hotel. I will definitely look to stay in this chain of hotels in the future.

only 1 year old hotel- great condition-new beds and linens - friendly personnel - kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Cleanlyness excellent. Only downside: Breakfast was not included and the menu, while being a typical hotel breakfast menu, did not hold up to expectations. Most of the stuff was swimming in fat and tasted either boring or watery. There is a diner across the street, next time I will try that...I probably get the same predictable stuff, hopefully cheaper and more satisfying. There are also other restaurants close by.
