Ramada by Wyndham Raleigh

My family found ourselves stranded due to car trouble in Junction City, Kansas. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Courtyard in this smallish town. I know to expect quality from Courtyard and I was not disappointed! In addition, the cost was very reasonable. Thank you tor making a bad situation a little bit more bearable.

The shower did not work in our room. My 3 children and I had to take bird baths.

Rude front desk on days,rooms were clean but walls very thin heard the baby on one side dogs on the other and drunks above me

This is the best place to stay for the local sports of the area, the staff is very helpful, the rooms are always clean, and the food is very good, my family and I come here 3 to 4 times ayear to see the hockey team, and we always stay here

No a/c in the hallways, had small roaches in the bathroom. front desk kid had no concept how you deal with customers in front of you or at least ecolodge them. when your on the phone talking to somebody. that isn't work related. we could hear his conversation to know he was just talking to a buddy of his. i was the 2nd person waiting to be attended. i had to ask if he could malty task so we could get tended to. at that point he told his friend he had to go. i waited aprox. 3 to 4mins and he had not even acknowledged the person waiting a head of me yet, that had been sanding there for who knows how long. i asked her if he had acknowledged her yet she said no. so that when i addressed him to please malty task i had to get up to my room. my key wasn't working.

Room wasnt ready for a few hours past check in. They said they would.call when the room was ready and never recoeved a call. Shower needed tolex in a bad way. Doors proped open that was supposed to only be open by room key. If i had my wife and family were with me it would have been an even worse experience

It’s a good location and it’s a decent price, however there were some things that could be updated and cleaned a little better for sure. We stayed there for awhile (4+ nights) and did find a cockroach one night. We took care of it and did not see any more but that was not ideal. The TV was pretty small (maybe a 30” max) and had no option for streaming services unless you bring something to hook it up to. For kids who like to play video games we had to move the chair in the room right in front of the TV for him to be able to play. It smells like a Vegas hotel that allowed smoking for 25 years and hadn’t cleaned it very well since not allowing smoking (you know that smell). We bought a candle to help which did when we were in there, but the smell when you opened the door hit hard every time. The breakfast is meh, they have some variation daily but it was greasy and there were not really any healthy options (not even bananas or oranges, only apples daily). The kids liked the pancakes! The courtyard is beautiful and the pool is sparkling clean, def the best part of the hotel. It was pretty quiet most of the time we were there, even with them allowing pets we didn’t hear too much barking or noise. Shower water was hot and pressure was good as well! We spilled some water on the ground one evening and when I cleaned it the rag was black from the carpet, not sure how often the carpet is cleaned in other hotels but this one seems to be long overdue. Staff was very nice 😁

Extremely impressed. Spent one night w family on our way south. Highly recommend. Clean and spacious.
