Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh/Cary I-40 (PNC Arena)

I've stayed at a few Hampton Inns before. All of them good. But this hotel made me stressful. After travelling 9hrs from Orlando, we decided to stay at this hotel. We were given a room on the 6th floor, booked in then told the elevator was out of service. We had to fetch 5 luggage pieces up 6 floors plus a baby. I entered the building with a baby stroller but was not told anything. We asked for a room on the lower floor but was told they can't change rooms and we could cancel instead. When we asked to cancel, they told us to call expedia.ca. My wife suffers from BPPV and had to fetch the sleeping baby up those stairs. If anything were to go wrong, it would have been on Hampton. I absolutely hate this experience. I hope I get a good night sleep atleast to prepare for my next leg. Not tht Hampton Inn cares!!!

My family was overwhelmed at the spacious suite, they didn't expect that. The price was right for the space, probably better than expected given that we were in town during the graduation week for Duke and NC State. That said, the decor is dated and a panel on the whirlpool had a broken corner, so that detracts from the overall impression. I would have liked more towels, that seemed weak compared to other hotels. This is a pet-friendly hotel and they showed that clearly. Our two dogs were happy with the large area to use for their outside needs. They did suffer from separate anxiety, which we were unprepared for. The hotel called me to tell me about their incessant barking but were very nice about it, no complaint per se, but understanding and patience while I returned to deal with them. That attitude goes a long way in my book, we'll definetly stay there again.

Very nice stay. We were traveling with our 2 kids and the suites with a kitchette were perfect and gave everyone plenty of room to be comfortable. By the looks of the parking lot, the hotel was pretty packed, but we never heard anything from another room or the hallway. We would definitely stay here again.
