Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlotte Southeast - Matthews, an IHG Hotel

We had a handicap accessible room and it met our needs. A few extra towels would have been nice. It was hot outside and we attended two soccer games and two tennis matches so extra clean up was desired. Breakfast was as expected. We would use this hotel again as we attend grandchildren soccer games and tennis matches, often.

Customer Service Rep was very courteous, polite, professional and helpful. Very polite, family members were here also. Thanks for the welcome

My sister, 2 year old nephew and I traveled over 4 hours to get here from Virginia. We’re here to gather with other family and have heard nothing but good things about this hotel from many many family and friends in the area so decided to book a room here. When we arrived the staff at the front was as friendly as she could be, but I was then made aware that the elevator was broken, and the pool & gym were both closed even though they are advertised as open when we booked this hotel. So that my sister could watch my nephew, I (4 months pregnant) had to make 5 trips to the 3rd floor carrying all our bags from the car. I was going to book for two nights, but I’m completely dissatisfied with the fact I was bit made aware of these inconveniences before booking.

My stay was comfortable, but the check in was like I was a child all I was told was all these rules, u can't do u can't do that, it was like I was in boot camp. Nowhere like any of the other Xpess we've stayed at.
