Swimming Pool Closed! This is not listed anywhere on their website, so do not book of you have little kids wanting a pool. They didn’t get their pool inspected, so will be closed for some time. The is trash everywhere outside and the trash cans outside are full smell horrible. The three inch dead roach by the trash as you walk in is a nice welcome.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable, the staff were nice and the free continental breakfast was also great. My only complaint is that the walls were pretty thin, our neighbour's had the music/bass blasting at 1am, and after a long road trip, it made it quite difficult to get some well needed sleep, especially with a toddler. Even after they turned it down and were making a reasonable level of noise, we could still hear them clearly from our room. Besides the noise, it was a pleasant stay.

Always a comfortable, pleasant stay here. This is my go-to hotel whenever I come in from out of town to visit friends and family, or for local events.
Pros: Walking distance to shopping centers, Cold Stone Creamery, Outback Steakhouse, Waffle House, Walmart, Dollar Tree, gas station, Texas Saloon Steakhouse, as well as other popular stores and restaurants. Friendly, courteous staff, clean, comfortable, easy check-in/check-out, pet friendly (if you dont have allergies and love animals), complimentary breakfast, self-serve hot coffee and hot tea all day, free wifi and a computer for guest use, small in-house snack and convenient store.
Cons: Very pet-friendly, so if you have allergies please beware! I've seen dogs (not even service dogs) in the breakfast area and sitting at tables with owners- which is unsanitary. Parking is tight on weekends, especially when local events are occurring. Complimentary breakfast isn't that great but will do in a pinch or if traveling with small kids and trying to save money. The motel across the lot (Quality Inn) can get rowdy. The locals stay there, and all sorts of activities occur at nightfall since it's a motel and Quality Inn staff cant see who's coming and going into/out of the rooms. So, be sure to lock your cars, close your curtains at night and drive to evening time destinations.
Other than that, Comfort Inn is a great value for the money. It's a no frills hotel, but it's always comfortable, quiet and clean whenever I stay there.

As a family, 2 adults and 3 kids, we stayed at this hotel for nights at truly loved it. The manager David was extremely welcoming upon arrival and went above and beyond to make us feel appreciated.
The rooms are spacious and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom and showers are spotless. They provided hygiene products.
The buffet breakfast offers a great variety, from waffles and cereal to bagels, eggs, fruits, and yogurt. Plus coffee and tea all day.
Overall, fantastic hotel and staff. Definitely stay again.
Thanks for a great experience.

The rooms absolutely stink. I say rooms because we asked to be moved, which we were, to another smelly room. The odor hits you at the room door. There was no hot water at 7.15 despite breakfast being between 6 and 9. The bus tour group took up the entire breakfast area despite obviously having finished eating and waiting for their bus. We ended up eating outside when the receptionist decided to have her smoke break 4 meters from us and our young children eating breakfast. The pool was shut. The ONLY redeeming factor was that breakfast was ok and the male reception member and the breakfast staff were both very pleasant. A very disappointing stay.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Lumberton. I had some kids staying across the hall from me and they screamed and slammed doors until past midnight. Was probably the worst stay at any hotel that I have ever had.

We had two rooms for two families and there were many issues. Some pillows smelled of body odor. There were many hairs and other signs of uncleanliness in the rooms. One of the couches had a urine smell. One of the waste baskets appeared to have been thrown up in but not thoroughly washed. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable. Only one room had bedding for the pullout. The safety door latch in one room was barely held on by two screws. One of the bathrooms had significant mold. One of the rooms had a very loose counter top.

The people were nice. The place was clean. I thought the room was ok, but the beds could have been more comfortable. I also don’t think it was suitable for my family of 5. My daughter had to sleep on the couch.
