Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Smithfield Selma/I-95

My stay was great. Me and my family will definitely stay here again

Water pressure at the sink was weak. There were children (alot-at least 7)were running through the hotel,loud, all night and day. From the pools,playing in gym etc. The pool is way smaller than expected and they had the nerve to charge our card double and of course we had to wait for them to put the money back on our card.

Stay was excellent. Breakfast could have had more options, but the kids ate so can’t really complain. Overall excellent stay.

I always trust Marriott hotels- first time I have such a bad experience in a Marriott Hotel- I asked my room to be clean, also asked for towels nothing was done, their excuses when I complained was that such things happened because of the “covid” are you kidding me!!! When I did the reservation they didn’t mentioned pool was out of service on the website… In general this is one of those Hotels you decided never to comeback. Sorry for me because it’s closer to my family and would be perfect for my stay once I travel to NC - I rather to drive farther then stay at this Hotel again.

Needed a place to stay close to the highway for the night for a family of five. We were accommodated well. Great breakfast in the morning.

We only stayed over for one night. The room we got accommodated a family of five comfortably. The price was great!!

We were very pleased with having coffee available 24 hours. The breakfast provided was very good as well. The pool is not that big and it is indoors. Every time I looked in, there were always kids there. But I guess it would be OK if you were really desperate to jump into a pool. It was fairly quiet where we stayed on the 3rd floor. The staff were very, very friendly toward us and we really felt welcomed here. The only negative thing about our entire experience, was that the hotel only had one VERY BUSY and crowded elevator every time we wanted to use it and it was very slow to move between floors. I think that if they added a second elevator, it would alleviate a bunch of congestion for those who have to venture to the upper floors. But like I said, "All in all, it was a nice hotel and I would stay there again. Nice place!
