When I tried to check in, I was told they did not allow anyone who lives within a 60 mile radius to stay at the hotel, so I was not allowed to check in. We were planning a sleepover with our grandkids, so we were trying to stay somewhere close to their parents. It makes absolutely no sense to turn business away for such an arbitrary rule. I went to a hotel next door and had a wonderful stay. I won’t try to stay at a Best Western ever again.

We travel with the kids a lot. Never have I been told I need a second room because there are 5 of us. I was forced to get a second room and was told I can’t use a 3rd party provider such as Expedia and I had to pay their rate for the second room. I called the neighboring hotel and asked if they have that policy and they laughed so I’ll be staying there on our travels home

The family enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The beds were very comfortable; very clean room. Breakfast had many items to choose from, we enjoyed our waffles and sausages! Staff were nice and friendly.

I booked this hotel by accident. I put the wrong date and could get my accommodations refunded to my family

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were very big and clean. I did not like the fact that my husband and I was told that we could not have our 3 young children in the room with us. We was told that it could only be 4 people in the room. Luckily my mother and father also had a room so one of our kids had to stay in their room. I also did not like that the pool was closed. My children were very disappointed.

The worst experience we've ever had. It’s truly the Worst Western. Booked the room with them online through Hotels.com: one 2 queen beds room. Drove from MA for 14 hours to NC. Got to the hotel exhausted after a long road trip got there at 9:00 pm and they denied me my reservation. The reason was that I had 5 people instead of 4, which were my husband and I and our 3 kids: 11, 9 and 4 year old, even though on the description it stated "kids stay free when share the same bed with parents. So because I never included my 4 year old toddler, which shares the bed with me and fits perfectly fine they said that I should have booked 2 rooms. They won't offer any cots or roll up beds. So put me and my family out at 10 pm by then to look for other options. My kids were in tears. I was almost in tears but had to keep my cool not to scare my kids. Thanks to God hotel next door to them Comfort Inn was our savior - they had available rooms. They had exactly the same room types: 2 queen beds which were perfectly fine to book for a family of 5 for no extra charge. They were genuinely surprised when they heard our story about Best Western strict "2 people per bed" policy and the fact that just because of a 4 year old toddler we had to book 2 rooms as opposed to 1 room which buy the way had never been a problem before anywhere else in US, including other Best Western hotels. I would call this place Worst Western. By the way their pool is permanently closed.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting family in the area. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, as were the ladies in charge of providing the continental breakfast. Our room smelled a bit funny, but appeared to be relatively clean. The only two exceptions were the bathroom floor (felt sticky to bare feet-gross) and the tub. It had a foldable bench that we could not move out of the way because it had not been cleaned underneath. We just had to avoid it. That was pretty gross as well. The location was great once you figured out how to access the shops and restaurants that were not located in the Equity Dr. circle. We would probably visit this hotel again with a special request to remove the tub bench for cleaning.

Must of had a family of four above me with kids because it was so loud hearing all the footsteps and bouncing up and down, it was a Monday night, so it wasn't busy so why book parties on top of each other, was going to ask for another room but it eased up by bedtime. Other than that, everything was okay.
