I had booked room with 2 queen beds. I, also, requested a walk in shower. I have disability and needed these accomodations. I was there as a Duke Medical patient. On arrival was told rooms as I requested had not been cleaned. With a family member, we had to settle for a one queen bed room with handicap shower. I should have received a discount on my room and I'm awaiting to see if I receive credit on my credit card. Size of TV and viewing choices ridiculous. Room looked old and it showed in corners and tiling. Staff was nice and helpful. I will NEVER stay there again or recommend to anyone.

Staff was 50/50 on helpful and useless. One man spent most of his time in the lounge on his phone playing games. Pool area after dark was horrible. Guys outside conference room hogging the available chairs. A guy obviously drugged out in the corner. Two guys on balcony playing music extremely loud and yelling curse words. The staff guy stood just outside the door smoking and did nothing. Breakfast and gym advertised but not available. Room seemed clean until we dropped something and looked in crevices on the sofa and on the floor under furniture. Trash in all of them. Location is great for us but won't be back. Noticed there were no families and understand why.

It was a quick overnight stay on route to a family visit. The check in people were friendly and it was easy. I asked about breakfast and found that there was no breakfast but they did have Starbucks coffee. That was fine, but in the morning found out they had no decaf. Bummer. The lobby was fine, but as soon as you got past that, the hallways, carpet, elevator, room were worn, tired and overdue for and update and freshening up. The plugs in the room were either loose or gave off aparks and we had to try several and unplug the clock radio to recharge are phones and medical equipment. Frustrating. Beds were fine. Refrigerator in room was smaller than our cooler and not very cool. Just an average stay, but less than expected.

I loved the area, close by good restaurants. I didnt like the dog barking in the room across the hall and the child yelling for his nanna at 4 o'clock in the a.m. I love my dogs but they should have a certain part of the hotel just for the peoples bringing animal. They shouldn't have them mixed in with people without animals.

We just spent one night at the hotel but my family liked it. We are definitely happy that we forgot some personal belongings but they were returned after going to hotel and ask for them
