DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Raleigh-Durham

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. I fell in love with the junior suite. Will go back soon

We always try to stay at the Doubletree when in Durham, NC visiting our family. It is conveniently located, clean, and the suites are roomy and comfortable.

High floor king suite was perfect for our family (11 year old comfy on sofa bed). Great having vanity outside bathroom so we can all get ready. Bed and pillows were great and nice to have a sink with countertop for coffee. Wish had more tissue boxes and extra soap (I’m sure they would’ve provided had we asked). My child loved the warm indoor pool (most have been cold). *my lady hugging the warm cookie the front desk gave her

First of all, I wish I would have found this hotel earlier in our trip here. I would not have minded driving further to where we needed to be to stay in the room we had longer. Checking in, the front desk staff was very welcoming, kind and went above and beyond for our stay. The room they gave us, was so much better than I had expected. Very spacious, clean and everything we needed. Ample towels, toiletries, and did I say space? The hotel is quiet. The pool area was nice. My kids enjoyed it very much. We walked out back the morning we were leaving to find a nice little lake area with what looked like paddle boats and a walking path around the lake. Again, I wish we would have stayed here the whole trip. Very very nice hotel and if we come back to this area again, I will definitely be staying here.

I chose this property for location and price. I arrived later than I normally like to (after 9pm). The front desk clerk I wish I remembered his name (Chris maybe?) but he was very nice. He asked if anyone in my party has any peanut allergies because of the cookies had nuts in it. I wasn't aware they did that. Great touch! I got the room key and got to the room and WOW... I was amazed! Everything looked clean and sanitized. I couldn't believe it I started to look for flaws or defects in everything. If I wanted to be petty I did see a crack in the grout in the shower but no big deal. The decor was very tastful and modern. My family and I loved our stay there. We booked only one night and regretted that we didn't stay longer. We did try but it was fully booked. Anytime I visit the Durham area I don't want to stay nowhere else. I hope all the positive reviews and comments don't increase the prices of the rooms. I will definately return and spread the positve experience I had.

Nice facility and a nice getaway for the children to swim in the pool

This stay was for a family funeral and I am thankful for the kindness shown our family of almost 50 who stayed at this property.

Came to Durham to spend Thanksgiving with my family and stayed at the Double Tree. Very nice hotel and the cookies are to DIE FOR, lol! Our room was stylish, neat and clean…we had a view of the outdoor pool, basketball court & the lake. The thermostat worked great and the heat was awesome because I’m always cold so I appreciate it working very well…the water pressure and temperature was great as well…the only issue we really had was that the doors separating the living and bedroom areas didn’t close completely. Outside of that, we had a great stay and I’d definitely stay here again.

It was a last minute decision to stay at a hotel. The front desk was very patient and kind. We were given cookies for the kiddos. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Overall good experience.
