Sea Ranch Resort

The condo with ocean view was the perfect size for our family of four. It gave everyone a bit of space to call their own. The in unit laundry was a huge bonus! Breakfast at the Bistro was delicious and the portions were very generous! The staff are all very helpful and friendly. It is also a perfect location as it is close to so many shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Wonderful time with family. Beautiful views. Food was very good. Staff customer service was excellent.

The Sea Ranch Resort is an older property, so don't expect a newly updated space. Despite the age of the property, we loved it! The location was superb. My family loved that we had an ocean view and that it was literally steps to the beach. We didn't hear ANY noise from neighbors, even though I'm pretty sure the hotel was full. The staff were helpful and friendly. They do a great job of cleaning and maintaining the property. I never left my room where I didn't see someone cleaning, sweeping, power washing, etc keeping the property looking nice. Even though I prefer a little bit nicer room, we would definitely stay here again given the experience we had. Oh, and the on-site restaurant was great, too!

My family liked the Sea Ranch Resort a lot and plan to return soon.

We love going to the Outer Banks and this was our second time to stay at The Sea Ranch. We absolutely loved the room size and the view, but it did not appear to have been cleaned very well and many of the furnishings and cabinets were old and not holding together very well. We understand it is a very old hotel and time wears on everything. We will be back and hopefully bring our family next time.

The location was great for this place, very convenient to the restaurant and stores. However we had a horrible experience at this property. I booked this resort to celebrate my husband’s birthday this past weekend. We checked in Saturday afternoon, and spent rest of the late afternoon at the beach, not knowing the AC in the room 216 was broken plus water dripping from the ceiling until we got back to our room. There was no maintenance on site at that time. It was hot and humid in the room the whole night and wet all over the floor that it was so slippery. All of us were not able sleep well which totally ruined our vacation and birthday for my husband. I called the front desk next day, they were able to send the maintenance up pretty quickly to diagnose the issue. They spent over a hour in the room with all the tools and noises. It was a hot mess. it was my husband’s birthday, we were supposed to go out enjoy and celebrate him instead we dealt with this mess in the room. I was hoping the front desk would tell me to give me a different room but they did not. The people at the front desk were not that nice, they did not apologize at all. I finally called the general manager on my last day, she said she will give me partial refund, today I received the email says the refund of $150. Are you kidding me? I paid $375 per night x2 after what we went through this weekend there, NEVER EVER will book with this property again!!! Highly Not Recommended!!!

The property was excellent for a family of 6. I would of liked more towels but really liked the resort. Right on the beach and many places to spray off sand. The only issue I had was the microwave looked like it hadn’t been clean in a long time. Otherwise loved this place. Very helpful to have washer/dryer in room.

Clean, 2 different places to rinse of after leaving beach. One MAJOR flaw. Was supposed to get room that slept 5: 3 adults, 2 kids. Got in room....only 2 beds. We bought air mattress, but not enough floor space. Ended up having to rent another room. Was not happy at an extra $350 expense just to be able to sleep. That being said, pool was nice, warm, clean, nice size. Balcony overlooking the ocean, so beautiful sunrises. My advice, be sure room is what you requested. I think overall it was everyone choosing to not let there mistake ruin our vacation that made it work.

Amazing customer service from the hotel directly, great family suite. Rented the 2 bedroom 3 bath ocean view suite. Couldn’t have asked for much more. You do want to bring laundry detergent as a fyi! But the washer and dryer was a surprise!
