Sanderling Resort

Amenities were great for a family vacation. Beach and pool were great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only complaint was the air conditioning wasn't working and the nights were rough.

Calvin did a great job welcoming our family to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. The onsite restaurant had great service, amazing food, and I felt the prices were on point. Being the second year we have vacationed here we were not disappointed and will likely be back!

The Sanderling Resort offers a fantastic experience overall, characterized by its stunning location and excellent staff. However, one aspect to note is the challenge of securing early check-in, which could be improved through enhanced transparency in communication. Despite this, the resort's staff members stand out for their exceptional service, enhancing the overall guest experience. This resort is ideal for both cold weather escapes and summer retreats, providing a welcoming atmosphere for various occasions, including family gatherings. The picturesque location adds to the charm, offering a beautiful backdrop for memorable moments. The dining options at the resort are top-notch, with excellent restaurants serving delicious food to satisfy every palate. Additionally, guests can expect clean and inviting rooms that contribute to a comfortable and pleasant stay. The refreshing scent in the rooms enhances the overall ambiance, adding to the positive experience for guests.

The room was clean. The property is on the beach. Amazing sunsets. Loved seeing the dolphins swim by each day. The family enjoyed both outdoor pools and hot tubs. Restaurants, shopping, and walking trails close by. Will definitely go back.

This is a great resort for adults and families. There are many activities and supplies available right on site, as well as a spa and several eating choices from casual to four star. The architecture is classic beach with the wear and tear you would expect on the ocean front with a constant east wind. We loved the adult oriented pool, the umbrellas and chairs supplied on the beach, the bar and lunch venue near the beach, and the big gas firepits for smores and casual conversation. Our room was clean, smelled good, and was very comfortable. There was plenty of parking for my oversized vehicle. I could nitpick a few areas for improvement, but none of it detracted from the excellent time we had in the ocean and on the resort property. We especially loved the staff who were so friendly and accommodating. They alone are a great reason to stay at this location. We will be back here one day.

Last minute reservation turned out to be one of the best times for my family. Excellent staff, service and quality. This resort can be for family or as a couple or even if you are by yourself.

I found the beds entirely too uncomfortable and the pillows were children size. I also think the comfort should be optional.
