Super 8 by Wyndham Cherokee

Was there for a quick family outing. With the exception of a slight odor when first walking into the room everything was great. The staff that greeted us Saturday morning was fantastic. Will definitely stay again if needed.

The hotel was a little bit out dated but ok for the most part. The rooms were clean until you looked behind the doors and other furniture, as a handy man myself i fixed the toilet from running all night but my mothers room the sink wouldnt drain properly, and her tv remote didnt work. They advertise free breakfast but it was just a little stand with not so good coffe and 2 types of prepackaged muffins that we or the kids didnt care for. With a mother that is a diebetic breakfast is important so we left earlier than we wanted to go get breakfast. The pool and hot tub was the highlight of our stay. Friendly staff just not what we expected for the price we paid.

Unfortunately, this trip was a huge let down. :( There were stains & grime on the walls & flooring. The bathroom had a foul smell that reminded me of stagnant well-water; it was so bad we had to close the bathroom door & nobody could take a shower. Water was definitely not consumable and therefore neither was the ice which also had the same foul odor. Not sure if it was the hallway on our floor or above us but it sounded like people/children were running the halls all night long. A car alarm started going off outside our room in the middle of the night & continued until at least 6 am. Furniture & fixtures were discolored & in disrepair; lavatory counter was broken & hanging. If it falls, it has the potential of really hurting someone. The acrylic countertop in the bathroom was badly stained and cracked in multiple places making its level of sanitation questionable. The television was small & the quality was awful. Breakfast was a joke; just stale individually wrapped muffins & juice that was so watered down it wasn't worth drinking. Beautiful glassed in breakfast area advertised online was blocked off by the "breakfast" cart. I genuinely do not know how this is a Wyndham property given its condition & the property is somewhat misrepresented in the photographs online. I would not recommend staying here and won't be visiting in the future.

Stay was great. It said breakfast was included. They should specify that it is only juice, coffee, and muffins. That's not much of a breakfast with kids.

It was ok for a 2 day stay, but need some serious updates and repairs. Bathroom door was taped in a damaged area, sinks chipped to hell, cigarette burns everywhere. Id say 6 out of 10. Ive stayed in total dumps and really great places, and this is a 6/10 as I said. Staff was friendly. Room next door had their kids playing catch in the hallway at 6 am. A/C sounded like a jet wngine every 30 minutes.

Clean and friendly with a family atmosphere.
