Rodeway Inn & Suites On The River

The room was pretty old but very clean. One of the staff seem to be very cold but I didn’t come here to make friends lol. This is a good property to relax after a long days hike and wake up the next morning looking at the stream sipping coffee. This is not the place for family vacation with kids or that kinda stuff. I would recommend this to my hiker friends.

More than adequate for a weekend of hiking, seeing Cherokee and attending an event at the casino with our family.

Nice river situation/view, but not easy to get to the river and no place to walk. Unusual requirement to not clean the rooms unless staying at least 3 days or by request. I did request clean towels, but they did not arrive. Since I was on my own, it was not such an issue, but if you are traveling with a family, this would be more of a problem. No breakfast. There is a restaurant with breakfast across the street, but reviews were not good so I didn't try it. Room does have microwave and refrigerator, so bring your own food. Room was quiet and bed comfortable, but hotel could use updating. Overall, I give this hotel just an average review and I probably would not choose it again.

It was a good hotel for our family of 4 and an adequate breakfast. Locating it was a little difficult.
