Bay Mountain Inn

First I would like to say thank you on the great customer service and communication. Our plans changed very last minute and I needed a hotel in a few hours. We were 5 hrs away. I booked but had very limited cell service. The hotel attempted to call me Serval times to make arrangements for a late check in. When I got service again he was very friendly gave me great instructions what to do for late check in. I arrived at 11:30pm and the rep was super friendly and prompt to check us in. Once we entered the room it was really hot! The ac had been completely turned off.. I get saving electric but at least set it to something half comfortable. We turned that baby on and took showers. It took about an hour and half to cool off. Room was very clean bed was very comfortable. They had breakfast which I didn’t see listed but we decided to sleep instead of eat. We would definitely stay again I just wish they would cool the room down a little before arrival.

I would absolutely stay again. The lady at the front desk called me on the way about 9:30 to check on us because we had not arrived yet due to an unexpected death in the family. She was so nice to tell me she liked to check on her people before her shift ended. I thought that was very thoughtful. First time I ever stayed in a hotel/motel that the bed was so comfortable I didn’t get up with terrible back pain and tired. It was refreshing.

We booked last minute.. when got into town they did let us check in early. The staff was very nice. The hotel was very out dated, looked like it was still in the 80’s. It seems to be a family owned due to there kids were running around. You could smell the food they cooked all over the building. Which didn’t smell good. Our room was mediocre. I did not have any plug outlets by the bed for phones for USB chargers or watches. The bed was very squeaky and all the furniture was from the 80s. The TV was very small. The bathroom lighting was not very well as I could not see you to put my make up on or was there a full length mirror to check out your outfit. The toilet was very low to the ground so it was hard to get up and down and the water pressure was good and then it was slow down to hardly a drip, but we made it through.

This property has the feel of a family owned business and the employees were very happy working there. The flower arrangements were over the top at the front of the building and I have always enjoyed seeing the colorful landscaping that would make anyone envious.
