The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. One of our kids got sick while we were there, and the front desk staff were very helpful with getting new sheets at 11pm and scrounging up extra towels for us. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and on top of things. She was a bit overwhelmed because she had a half dozen things that needed refilling all at once and didn't have any help from front desk. The pancake machine took a lot of her time making it work properly, but the pancakes were yummy when it did work properly. The hotel does need to figure out extra towels because when I went and asked for extra towels both nights we were there, the lady at the front desk made it seem like there weren't many extra towels and she might not be able to find any. Overall, our stay was fun and we enjoyed our time in Cherokee.

Went to a concert at the casiono. It was a VERY easy walk, right across the street with cossealks right in front of the hotel. It was closer than the casinos parking garage. Breakfast was good. Check in/out was easy. Front drek was plesant. Shower pressure was great. Bed was extremely comfortable. Stayed one night on a date night, would def stay again on a couples night or with the family.

We were traveling with 2 adults and 2 children. We booked the King suite that sleeps 4 people with pull out couch. We paid nearly $300 for this room. Everything was lovely in the hotel itself. The problem came when I went to get linens for the pull out couch-was told I could only have one pillow. Even though the couch was for 2 people. I then explained that I had 2 children and had paid extra for the room for 4 people the GENERAL MANAGER DOUG TAYLOR said no. Then I asked for the complimentary rollaway bed and was again denied that. I had to BEG for a pillow. Finally he said “fine, I will give YOU a pillow and then tell the next guest they cannot have a pillow because YOU took it” and stormed off. It was humiliating and frustrating since it was a financial burden to even be at this hotel but then to be treated like that. I then called my husband and he came down and was treated the same-he recorded the incident for proof. I then called Expedia and they argued with me that I didn’t have the room I booked even though my kids were sleeping in said pullout couch and my receipt had on it “King suite with additional living area, sleeps 4” so Robert with Expedia would also do nothing to make this right. The whole thing was frustrating and left a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment and for Expedia. I spoke with the morning manager about the incident and she apologized but again, nothing was done to make it right.

I didn’t like the kitchenette area it was so small we had little space to use for our snacks. The toilet in the bathroom was very tiny look like a toilet you would find in a daycare for children. This is unacceptable I used the bathroom in the lobby which was standard size. I went to sit on it and almost broke my back because I didn’t realize it was that small. The upside to this hotel is the fact that it’s right across the street from the Cherokee casino and the hotel did serve hot breakfast every morning,

Just a short weekend get away but the staff treated us as if we were family. They were most professional but REAL in their approach, friendly at all hours, and always willing to make our stay unforgettable. This was our first stay here but not our last. Jennifer and Shannon Roope
