Booked a room and got confirmation just to show up with my family to be told we over booked and you got bumped. No other rooms available

Started off shaky with room not ready due to being short staffed 45 mins after check in time . So I gave an additional 1 hour to clean the room. When I arrived back the room was ready. However,I had to wait around another 45 minutes even though I booked and prepaid via Expedia. The hotel initially didn't show prepaid on their end which took phone calls and waiting for Expedia. The guy at the front desk was kind and was putting out fires by himself as I wasn't the only person this happened to. He did his best without management on site checking in multiple families and troubleshooting. He also made a special accommodation to ease my anxiety because I honestly wasn't sure if the issue was resolved until manager reviewed. I received that confirmation 2 days later at check out. I didn't let this spoil my trip. The room was very clean and I love the shopping area across from it. My boys loved the breakfast! I will be back there again as I understand sometimes everything isn't perfect especially when short staffed which was the main issue. My boys who are very picky were happy and that's all that matters!

Stayed here for the weekend of the 4th of July to spend time with my mom that lives 12 minutes away from the hotel. The room was good for a family of 5. Full fridge, microwave, sink and dishwasher they also provided dishes. the only part that I didn't like was the fact that the cleaning people only work until like 1-2pm and they go to clean your room to early also breakfast was until 9am I think 10am is a better time from M-T and F-S 10:30am., but other than that is perfect. It's next to a small shopping center that has a Target and a CVS.

Loved this property and will return here for all future trips when my family returns to the Charlotte area.

We won't be coming back to this hotel. We asked to clean the room several times and it was not done ( and they asked for a clean 24 hour in advance and I even reminded them about it). When we arrived the soap was open and used and in general it didn't feel clean. Staff was not very welcoming. We were a family of 4 and they only put 2 body towels, so we were always asking them to give more towels.

Overall enjoyed my stay, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The air conditioner fan wouldn’t stay on at night and I kept getting hot, the fourth floor felt humid and hot, and I had neighbors with a dog that kept barking at night and kids they would let just run up and down the hallway (that’s not the hotel’s fault though!). The breakfast provided was ok, no complaints there. I wanted to ride the spin bike in the workout center, however the back of the bike is pointed towards the entrance door/windows - so everyone would see your bottom bobbing up and down. Maybe should consider moving the bike to a more isolated area. All together we enjoyed our stay mostly - the hotel is in a good area with lots of shopping and dining options, the beds are comfortable, and it was clean and tidy.

We stayed for a short weekend trip to visit family. The property was clean, nicely decorated, and conveniently located. We would stay again.

Absolutely loved the room layout, with all the amenities and the eco-friendly touches. Staff that I encountered were all very nice. Great location, in a very pretty area. My only issue was with the TV. I couldn't figure out how to get the normal channels up and had to call for assistance. I was told it was a glitch with Spectrum. I understand these things can't be helped, but maybe mentioning that you have to go to channel 3 upon check in, or posting it by the remote would be helpful. Hey, but now I know! I would definitely stay there again, anytime I'm in town visiting my family.

Beyond happy with my familys stay! The hotel was clean and appealing to the eye. The staff were awesome starting from my initial call and throughout our stay. All the other guests were also nice and friendly. We will be staying there again.
