The Inn At Pine Knoll Shores

The restaurant in the lobby was under construction so there weren’t any food options. Our room was decent. The bathroom was so tiny I could barely fit in it to shower… that was unfortunate. The room had an extremely bad mold smell in it. Every time we would open the door to our room we were greeted with a damp, moldy odor. There was a nice view! Pool had huge spiders in it and my husband had to clean them out as the kids were too scared to swim with them in it.

I read reviews and went thinking this was a 3 star hotel, but was disappointed. The views were simply amazing. The pool and kids play are was nice. Dinning was closed and under construction with no notice. The room was advertised as 2 queens but were more like full size with an old metal frame. There was no clock in the room. The bathroom was small and felt like you were hugging the wall to use it. There were no services since the hotel was short staffed. They said I could request services as needed, however no one showed when I asked for trash service. We picked up towels at the front desk and after a couple days we were swimming in dirty towels. We even had to beg for toilet paper. Overall the room was cramped and felt like you were on a small cruise ship.

We were looking for a hotel for a quick beach trip for our small family. We wanted on the beach and with a balcony. This hotel had everything we needed. I was impressed with the courteous staff at the front desk who always answered our questions and with a smile. I loved that they had chairs for us to use at the beach and we were able to request an umbrella for free. The tiki bar and music each night was a great addition to our stay. The rooms were a little small and the bathroom even tinier, which made it clunky for our family. This hotel has great perks and without the price tag. Even though the rooms were small we are not fussy and since we are at the beach we were not planning to be in the room much anyway. I would definitely stay here again for a short stay!

This trip was wonderful! We went for our 35th anniversary and took our adult children with us! We love this hotel because of the rooms all being ocean front rooms! Love this place!

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick trip out of town for the end of the year that was oceanfront. This was a great experience and brought back nostalgic memories for both of us from when we were kids and had each taken trips down to morehead. It has had the much needed renovations, deep clean and “face lift”. The only complaints we really had were the shower taking over 15 minutes to warm up and the floors in our room having sand all over them when we arrived. Neither of which were a huge deal and we will definitely be returning in the coming years.

We had a lovely’s day the first time we ever stay there or enjoyed it and I will return staff was very friendly. The dining was very good. You’re right there on the beach clean. They had a bar there a pool very clean pool. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit And I would recommend them to all of my friends and family

Clean, safe, family oriented and quiet

Absolutely enjoyed our stay ! The staff , all of them were the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They all had smiles in their faces . The tone of their voices was friendly snd if you asked them a question or needed something you didn’t feel like you were a bother. They made you feel comfortable, so friendly and accommodating. They kept the place clean and the extra things they did like make fresh water and coffee for the guests , set out beach chairs snd lounge chairs and umbrellas everyday was so so nice. I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We will definitely be going back snd hopefully sooner than later. The rooms were all Ocean views right on the beach! Nice balcony with table and chairs to enjoys the views. So clean and beautiful! They had corn hole set up, a huge Jenga game , music, nice pool area, and a bar all in a very nice area that was well kept and clean right before you cross the short bridge to the beach. We ate breakfast at the restaurant on site snd it was delicious! The staff was so friendly, the food was piping hot and it was not the typical hotel food. It was good hot meals brought to your table. No carton eggs, real eggs and grits snd premium bacon and the omelettes were delicious! All in all, a great place for families or a couple or anyone looking for a clean, friendly beautiful place to stay on the beach! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay the best! Y’all were amazing!
