Beaufort Hotel NC

It was such a wonderful stay. We actually were at another hotel prior to this one and we’re not happy and found this gem and we’re so happy. The golf carts made going to front Street really easy. It was literally a straight shot to the restaurant and everything. Staff were great and very friendly. My family and I will probably come back.

Highs and lows. VIP parking don’t do it! They lost my keys for 45 min and lied to me on phone saying car was down there ready the whole time yet my husband was waiting for car the whole time and it wasn’t there. Save your money and park yourself. Room was nice, clean, beds and pillows were comfy. Pool was beyond trashed because guests were pigs and littered everywhere and even ate in hot tub. Kids ran around stealing peoples towels and parents didn’t do anything about it. There is no one in pool area so to each their own. The staff did clean it up end of night. Waiter charged me adult meal at 34 degrees restaurant for my kid…? She ordered off kid menu…yet he did not correct charge. Checking out front staff young Latino girl was quite rude to me. I prepaid for 2 nights then I added a 3rd night stay on Orbitz also. They tried to charge me for an extra night when it was already paid. She wanted me to show her so I went to car to get my phone to show her and she still wanted to charge me. I asked for manager and he wasn’t in yet. She said she will have him fix but not without attitude. I get an email with a charge for friends of Rachel Carson Reserve? They like charging you for things you don’t ask for or use so be careful and double check your charges! Overall property is beautiful, however training and staff and charges are about ridiculous. FYI one coffee pot in the AM is always out of coffee with people waiting in line for coffee-no stir sticks, etc

We enjoyed our stay, this is probably one of the only resort style hotels in the area. It’s a short distance to the Beaufort waterfront shopping area. But overall convenient to most of the crystal coast. We stayed one night, to take our kids to the aquarium the following day.

Ended up not even staying the night after family freaked out over roaches/water bugs all over the floor. May have been due to first floor but still. Never heard anything from hotel.
