We come to Asheville frequently to visit family and this is our first time staying at Brookstone. I will always stay here from now on! The staff is so nice and helpful. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in and we have not one complaint about it. We will be back soon!

The property is nice and was clean, friendly staff and the room served its purpose. The walls are very thin so it was not quiet. From the noise above us which included kids and adults walking on the floors (seemed excessively loud) to the loud conversation of the group of girls next to us including the 3am vomiting of the party on the other side…to say the least, it was not a good nights sleep. Had we had nobody around us…it would have been just fine but with those thin walls, the only way to drown out some of the noise was by having the fan on high.

We are a family of 6 and booked the room with a sofa bed (advertised that it sleeps 6.) The sofa bed wasn't much larger than a twin and only fit one of my children, leaving the additional 5 of us sharing 2 beds making it a very uncomfortable night. The hotel also smelt smoky and mildewy. Was not a great experience.

This hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. That was the good. The room was very loud - when the guests above us walked it sounded like the ceiling would fall in. When people walked by, especially with children, it sounded as though they were in the room with us. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The center was worn out and you had to hold on to the edge to keep from sinking into the “hole” in the center. The temperature was very hard to regulate and was either too hot or too cold.

Very nice stay overnight for my kids and I. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was very good, fitness center was minimal only 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical, but nice to have.

At first glance after checking in, the room was reasonably nice. It went downhill from there. AC/heat did not work, it was either full cool or full heat with no control. All three nights the people in the room above us were noisy with out of control kids pounding the floor until after midnight. The rooms are not carpeted after a recent remodel so that probably contributes to major noise in any room occupied on the floor above you (request a room on 3rd floor to avoid this). WiFi was so weak it was unusable. On checkout I was told I should have asked for access to the password protected account instead of the standard connection. And I was supposed to know this how? Breakfast was the same every single day with cold eggs, can we not have at least a little variety? Fruit juices were watered down. On a positive note, it's pretty convenient to the Biltmore if that is your destination. Overall, a disappointment and I can't recommend it. I reported all of this to the staff and they offered no compensation for a poor stay, I think they should have.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with the friendliest front desk attendant. The BrookStone gives a very “home away from home” type feel, while on vacation. With the option of fresh fruit-infused water as soon as you enter, it was definitely a convenient stay from the start! While the elevator does take a while, I’m going to chalk it up to the fact that it stays BOOKED! Not far from Downtown, and other activities. It also happens to be about a mile from Moe’s Original Barbecue. Simply delicious. ☺️ Overall, traveling with my fiancé, and two small children, this was a great choice for an overnight stay!!
