Fairfield Inn by Marriott Medford Long Island

It was a great room to stay with my kids and my puppy. The kids and I had a great time at the pool and I would definitely book again.

A nice selection of breakfast items on buffet. Grandkids enjoyed pool once it was repaired and back in operation. Room was clean and well kept. AC/heat a bit noisy on 2nd night. Tolerated bcuz at time back to room was later & needed to get kids in bed. Didn't feel repair or switching rooms was an option at that hour.

Location is close to the Long Island Expressway. Room is very nice; bathroom is spacious. Indoor pool is small but it was fine for us because there was no one else in it while we were there. A few cons - parking was insufficient when we stayed and there were no spots available. The room was quite warm and the thermostat was not user friendly to lower by a few degrees. The TV didn't work. Engineering came to our room and couldn't fix it and offered to switch rooms instead. It was late and our kids didn't want to move. No offer of compensation was made when addressed with the staff. Lastly, while buffet was complimentary, the eggs (both the scrambled and hard-boiled) were rubbery.

Where to start. Paid 1400$ for 8 nights. Got charged another 300 for a little dog after Expedia said they were pet friendly. And on top of that they tried to charge my card another 600$ every night. Thank god there was nothing on it anymore. And had to them cancel it and get a new one. Will never stay again. Plus they are being sued for child trafficking!!!

Hotel staff went above and beyond, very approachable, good attitude and friendly. Breakfast was hot and plenty of choices. I even had an opportunity to have a nice chat with the lady in charge of the breakfast and directed us to near by attractions for the family. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were not enough parking spots available both nights we spent there. Over all, I liked it a lot. Definitely will come back again.

The hotel pool is only open noon-9, we were in town for a baseball tournament so our only swim options were early in the morning or late, so our ability to swim was limited. You also need to go to the front desk for a pool key and sign waivers which was odd and inconvenient. Need to use the lobby restroom? Again you'll need to get a key from the front desk. They treat people like elementary school kids. As for the room, water stains on the ceiling of our 2nd floor (of 3) room, cracked shower tiles, unpleasant odor upon check in when you enter the room. We've stayed at one other hotel in the area and only choose this one for the hot tub, we will be avoiding this hotel for future stays.

This is my second time staying within two months. I absolutely love this place. It’s truly like a second home I call it my time share and planning another trip with family and friends very soon once again.

Was near our family event, and clean and practical, easy in an out and shopping, food nearby.

“Extremely Pleased” Booked to reserve a room on Line with Hotels .com.... From the moment my Wife I walked through the doors, until check out everyone at the front desk was cordial.....and attentive to all our needs We ordered out from Pizza Corner...fast delivery...great price n good Italian food....we had fun working out n the clean pool n Spa were great activities. Rooms were VERY CLEAN! The maid service was excellent job everyday. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were clean with lots of towels and great water pressure in the shower. TV/Heat/ microwave/fridge all worked nicely. Free 6AM next morning... Continental Breakfast....wasn't bad..... One block from LIE quiet part of Town.No loud parties either! Mostly families. ... Big plus for families! Many food establishments in walking distance nearby. All in all, if you want a huge bang for your buck, stay at the Marriott Medford Long Island. We'll definitely enjoyed our first stay....so we came back for another stay... My Wife has a stressful job...I'm retired...Every Sunday into Monday...week end for the Winter...we will be there...This motel can't be beat!
