SpringHill Suites by Marriott Long Island Brookhaven

The staff was so friendly and professional. We visit family in Long Island and do not like to be a burden on them. This hotel had great service and the staff were amazing. We will be staying here more often when visiting family in the future.

Very close to family and the East end

I was minutes away from restaurants , kyacking , & family .. I did not find the bed all too comfortable .. the room was clean , spacious , & adequate .. my neighbors were not so accommodating .. it got noisy at night .. the ice machine never produced any ice during the 10 days I spent there .. all in all , the room was ok and the people in charge of breakfast were awesome 😎 .. they actually cared about how you enjoyed their morning decisions of choices. .. I will say they were not worth the $225 a night charge , but I would consider them in a group choice of where to stay in the area ..

Not so great overall No ice no pool bathroom was eh ok ( plus side it had a sep water closet ) Couch was dirty like baby food or puke Did not use Coffee pot still had coffee from previous occupants Very very short staffed all around

Only disappointment was that the pool was out of service for renovations and it was not noted when I made the reservations. Traveling with kids that were greatly disappointed.

Absolutely a great family suite, clean, spacious, quiet, n a great breakfast w/ waffles even!!

We booked this property for the convenience in location. Close to the expressway and close to sunrise Highway. We stayed there over 2 years ago and the pool was closed. This time the pool was still closed. Not sure it will ever open at this point. What a disappointment to our kids. The room has a weird odor, and the doors to our bathroom and shower room both did not close. There is no lock on the doors and the doors kept sliding back open. I had to wedge a towel in each door to stop it from opening. The bathroom had some weird stuff on the walls and the toilet room had some hair left for us in the sink. Overall it could be a great place, has potential if the upkeep was a little better. And the amenities were worth it. Without the pool, the rate should be much lower. Oh also, someone took one of the dumbbells from the gym so you could do half a workout haha.

I would not stay here again. I checked in and the place was noisey with kids making a lot of racket in the lobby. We paid extra to stay here because I have a 3 year old that love the water and the pool was closed. Get to the room and use the bathroom to find out the door kept sliding open. Hung a towel up and when I grabbed it the fixture came off the wall. I paid good money to stay here with my family and will rethink any future Marriot bookings. I will say that the staff was very nice.

Great place. kids loved the pool. The rooms are great with a separate living area.

The hotel was misleading. We booked to use the pool and when we arrived the pool was under construction. We felt it was too late to switch hotels so we just stayed anyway. We stayed one night in our room and the next we had marijuana coming through our walls. It consumed our room and we had to move rooms in the middle of the night. We had a baby that we had to wake and move mid sleep. Our last night we experienced the same thing, marijuana coming through our bathroom walls. We sprayed perfume and closed the doors until the morning where we packed up and left. Very disappointed with the marijuana smell, completely turned us off. The pool was a disappointment, the website should state the pool is out of service. Also, the back door was out of service so we had to park in the back lot with our child and walk all the way around the building to get in to the hotel. The bathroom doors don’t lock and our baby who is only 11months kept opening the bathroom and shower doors on her own. The rooms are not setup very well for families. Wish we had a better experience and now I wish I switched hotel.
