This was our second time staying at the Turning Stone Lodge. The hotel is beautiful. Last time the pool was closed but we had a chance to use it this trip. My only complaint is how badly the pool is monitored. Many kids of all ages were swimming without adult supervision. It was extremely hard to enjoy it. Kids were jumping off the stone divider between the pool & hot tub. Very dangerous. I was swimming with my son who is in a wheelchair and I was scared that he would get hit by all the sports equipment the kids brought to the pool. I wish staff members would occasionally monitor the activity in the pool area.

Great little vacay that brings the resort feeling. The only thing I would add is an arcade for something for the kids or make a “kids casino” As there isn’t much for the kids to do besides the pool.

The property is beautiful upon pulling up. And when checking in. The woman we encountered at the front desk was very nice. When we went upstairs to check into our room. We weren’t pleased with the room. Especially due to the price we paid for just one night. It was very outdated. The beds were very uncomfortable and you can feel the springs in the bed digging into your body. The bathroom was decent however, our light fixture was crooked and you can see into the ceiling and made us a little worried as why it was like that. My husband and i wanted to do massages and both spas had no availability. We were only there for one day so it was a little disappointing to not have open availability. We also had our son with us and it was ver disappointing that their wasn’t anything for the kids to do either. Only the pool but that closed so early that he didn’t get to enjoy it. The restaurant we ate at was decent. Service was nice. Food was great.

Well to start I got to the hotel front desk. I was trying to check in and change my room. When all of a suddden this kid comes up from behind me as I’m checking in and demands to see what’s in my cooler. I was kinda of shocked I don’t think he indentified as security or what he was I was just takin back by it. Well I had no idea that you couldn’t have any alcoholic beverages. I had never heard that and I said not even in my room he said no. Well this was supposed to be my honeymoon and I felt I paid good money for this room. I don’t think I’ll be getting a room again. Ive stayed at alot of Hilton s and will stay that way I think.

We stayed there for a college family weekend. It took a lot of extra time coming and going because of the Casino traffic. We were not interested in the Casino so it was a lot of extras that we did not need. We did eat breakfast at the Lodge part of the resort and that was nice. If I got stuck again without a place to stay for our visit, I would book a room in the Lodge.
