Homewood Suites by Hilton New Hartford Utica

Although our stay was brief, I found the establishment run down, in two years since our last stay, the rooms have become run down. Furniture stained, rugs dirty, bed linens need to be updated. Blankets in closet are all pilled, pillows flat and couch pillows filthy. The pool was a deep greenish aqua color and you could not see through it. The pool area was also unkempt and in need of a deep clean around the tiles and planters were peeling which was just a sign of neglect. There was dirt on our bathroom floor but otherwise ok in the kitchen and bath areas. I just think house keeping needs to do a better job. The staff was accommodating and friendly. It’s just sad that a nice place like that has gone downhill fast. It was nice that they had the complimentary breakfast and snacks in the evening. All in all our kiddos had some fun and that was all that should matter. Hoping to see some improvement on our next stay.

The staff here is amazing. They kept our room clean even with our 2 toddlers making messes. They made us feel like family.

Staff were excellent! Room was spacious and well-maintained! Will definitely return for another stay later this year when visiting family, again! Much appreciated!

The hotel staff was very friendly! The room was spacious and the amenities were great. The kids loved the complimentary smores kit you can do in the fire pit in the back of the hotel. I woukd recommend

Front desk clerk was very personable (at 1 am!). I have noticed that, since the pandemic and "The Great Resignation," hotels have been hit or miss. This one is firing on all cylinders! Check in was friendly and quick, room was perfectly well-situated (wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it with more friends/family), breakfast was perfect, even for my picky/athletic/fit teenager, and hotel seemed really green with recycling containers right next to garbage.

Nice place to take the kids for a fun getaway to swim…kids loved it, good breakfast clean area. Nice outside area but it snowed so we couldn’t use it.

Hotel main lobby was nice & clean - however our hotel room toilet didn’t work. We checked in on Saturday after noon only in the room to change quick.. the toilet wasn’t working so we left front desk know she said someone would come up. We returned between 8-8:30 toilet was still not fixed. We had to go down stairs every time someone needed to use the bathroom and we were traveling with young kids. I called down again they said someone would be up. . Next morning I called at 6am still no one to come fix it. . The toilet was not fixed out whole trip.. we had to go down stairs every time with 3 kids when ever we had to use the restroom. Very poor customer service
