Very pleased with the service: they allowed us to check-in early which made life much easier with two small children. The bar has a great selection. Food is okay, but a tad expensive. Rooms were clean and spacious, but the hallway noise was very audible inside the rooms. Would definitely stay here again

I had reserved a room with 2 double beds but when I arrived they did not have that type of room available and only gave me a room with 1 king size bed and pull out sofa. There also wasn't any water in the refrigerator and the AC unit was not very cold and we had to call for repairs to get the filter changed. So the room was unfortunately not as comfortable as we would have hoped. Otherwise, the hotel and staff were nice and my kids enjoyed the fitness center and the pool.

While I am in NY from Florida I take my grandkids on trips to hotels so that they can swim in the hotel pools. We won't be back because the indoor pool is not heated. It was way too cold for them. Other than that the overnight stay was good but we won't be back for that reason.

This is a big, noisy hotel - your experience depends more upon luck and who is in the room next to you than on the staff of the hotel. The night we were there it was crowded with a lot of kids running around the lobby and hallways until 11pm. The check in went fine. The parking lot was quite full. The room was large, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if it wasn't a busy weekend.

I can not say enough about the wonderful staff. We were there for a sad occasion and Barbara helped us make our meetings with family so incredibly easy. The bellman (I think Renaldo) saw me leaving the hotel and it was raining. He followed me out and offered me umbrellas. Matt at the bar was super friendly and served drinks that actually had alcohol. Our room was quiet and clean with a comfortable mattress. We were not there for a happy occasion and everyone we met up with did everything they could do to make me smile.

All was good except we were right near the pool and some children were being very noisy at 7 am near the pool despite the quiet time posted between 10 pm and 8 am. Difficult to get WiFi in room too…

My family and I stayed at the Melville Marriott to celebrate my daughter's 21st Birthday. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are very clean and neat. Linens are comfy and smell good. Hotel staff were accomodating and very friendly. We visited local restaurants and an Escape Room about 15 minutes away. When the day was done, we relaxed in our cozy hotel room and enjoyed the rest of our stay indoors. Our stay at Marriott Melville was memorable and enjoyable. The welcome message with my name on the TV screen was a nice personal touch. I recommend this hotel 100%.
