I had to attend a funeral for a family member and The Hampton Inn made for a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, the breakfast was nice and the employees were lovely.

Check in was easy, clean and all staff members are friendly and helpful. Walkable to diner and Italian restaurant 2 minutes away. Clean and spacious room. Quiet and safe for family. Wifi and tv signal fluctuated though but not a deal breaker for us.

The room and bath was immaculate. Needed a hotel close to a family gathering, and this was less than a mile away.

We arrived a little after 1 am after driving 6 hours. It was a long trip filled with a ton of NY traffic. When we arrived to our room we noticed something on the pillow. Upon closer inspection it was a tiny cockroach. I tried to brush it off then realized there were more - inside the pillow case. I figured it was just one pillow that had them so I checked the others and one other pillow had 2 more. I reported it to the front desk and another room was assigned. They were apologetic and shocked. I did take photos which I shared with the front desk check in person. They offered to comp the first night of our stay, however at that point we were grossed out and did not want to spend another minute there. We ended up leaving and finding accommodations with family.

Other guests disturbed the entire night. Another room baked out with pot making it hard to breath in my room. Car alarms happened 3 times in the night. A wedding group came back at 12 ish and they were loud in their rooms and halls and clearly drunk through 3 am. For what it’s worth, I didn’t sleep there night and the hotel was not the right fit for my family. The property was in good condition, good landscaping and breakfast. Bathroom shower was requiring some maintenance in my room

The hotel is conveniently located right off an exit. There is a very large diner right next to the hotel if you need a late night dinner. The hotel has a small pool that looked clean although it is really too small except maybe for entertaining a small child. The breakfast was surprisingly good for a 2.5 star hotels, with a selection of pastry items, cereal and eggs and beacon. There is a 24 hours DIY coffee and tea station in the lobby. The beds are comfortable. The only negative thing is that the air condition / heating unit is very loud. If you like white noise while you sleep it is great. If not it can be a problem.
