Homewood Suites Melville

This was the worst stay near Bethpage so far. The hotel has only one working elevator and it looks and operates like a parking garage elevator. Place has a horrible odor. Very dirty and run down. We had five police cars there two of the days we stayed with them questioning people across the hall. I was woken up another morning by a call from the front asking if we were missing a child. On the fourth and fifth day of the stay we had to come back to the room to get our dogs because they were doing fire alarm testing and were inspecting electrical and entering all rooms. It was a major inconvenience. The tiles were broken and chipping, the thermostat is set to 71– no changing it at all. The doors get stuck or don’t shut all the way. The bathroom has mold spots. The only pro is the breakfast. Otherwise, stay anywhere else.

I always trust Hilton's Homewood. It was clean and I rested comfortably. The swimming pool is not big but clean. The hot tub was also nice. The kids had fun playing, and the breakfast was good. I want to come again next vacation ;)

I generally like staying here but as the kids get bigger the pull out couch is horrendous and the pillows are pretty awful too. And the carpet feels pretty nasty. I like the room set up though and the water pressure in the shower.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Met my family’s expectations.

Very nice hotel, convenient location to all. They were doing some repairs, apparently a pipe had broken and some wallpaper needed replacing on the 4th floor but even still looked clean and tidy.I personally did not care for the mattress but don't let that sway you, I'm accustomed to mine at home, the rest of my family was very comfortable. Traveling with two teen age boys, the two bedroom suite offers much needed privacy

Excellent customer service and clean hotel. The receptionist Sangeeta was very pleasant and the check in process was highly efficient. Additionally, the breakfast was delicous and the staff were always ready to kelp with our requests. I highly recommend this hotel to families or anyone visiting the Plainview area. We will be back.
