Perfect for kids!

My home-away-from-home when I return back to the area to visit family and friends. The suites are the best if you have the extra money to spend and amazing views from the restaurant as well as the best bar mixologists in all of Rochester!

Very disappointing. The heat did not work in our room at first. No one came to fix up our room. As a treat, I wanted to get room service for my kids, but when I called they “[weren’t] doing room service [that day]”. The hot water ran out. For what the Woodcliff purports itself to be, it did not live up to its claim. Next time Hampton Inn it is. The beds are comfier, it’s less expensive, and while there’s no room service, at least there’s a decent breakfast for free.

My disappointment is not so much with the hotel but with the Spa. I received 2 services for my hair and I was disappointed with both. And more so then the hair services themselves I was disappointed with the way I was treated by the staff at the front desk of the spa. I have stayed at the Woodcliff a number at least a few times a year for the past 5 years and I will be considering other options when visiting family moving forward.

Being from Rochester, I had much higher expectations for my stay. The staff was welcoming & friendly. I had a phenomenal experience in the bar & restaurant and will be sending a letter to the property about the excellent service we received. However, the room I stayed in was HORRIBLE! For $700 I could have booked a room at the Renaissance for $50 less and received a nicer room. We were given a disgusting handicap room and not told upon checkin. Our bathroom looked like a rest stop bathroom. No sink counter space to get ready. My curling iron continued to roll into the sink. I had to layout my stuff on the desk and walk back and forth to the bathroom. The room was outdated and not very clean. The coffee mugs were sticky, one of the coffee packets has been half used. My husband was so disappointed as I had talked up the property from my childhood. He will never stay here again when we come to town to visit family. We would however dine again at Horizons. That experience is more in line with the level of service and quality we are used to. There are other properties in Rochester that are nicer & cheaper.

Great room, quiet area and breakfast was really good. Some areas or rooms were under renovations still but really enjoyed the 2 night stay with my family. Would consider Woodcliff again.

I've been here before so nothing was really unique except it was settled high on a hill. I did not care for the loud screaming child across the way at 2am. I was actually concerned, as this child was screaming as if it got hurt. I was grateful to the staff but he was the only one working so that was kind of disappointing to see. He was great though, Justin was very kind.

We were in and about within 24 hours but enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean, staff were great, kids loved the pool and hot tub, close to Cheesecake Factory. What else do you need :)

Nice views from windows. caught a nasty head cold lots of children running in elevator told women I’m sick take next one she just jumped in anyway. Child proceeded to press every button. Except the red one!!
