Just a quick overnight stay for family vacation. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and breakfast was good.

Truly disgusting. We have stayed in several post-COVID knowing clean has never been the same, but I have never stayed in a hotel this dirty. I’m also not one to leave scathing reviews, but I hope this lets other travelers know that the high ratings are not accurate, and to take the 1 star reviews seriously. After arriving late Friday night, we entered the room to discover stained sheets, the mattresses were old, stained and disgusting, the shower curtain, head and provided shampoos were caked with mildew, and the carpet was covered in TONS of dead bugs and dust. When we tried to get in bed there were crusty crumbs all throughout. Everything smelled dirty, from the sheets to the room itself, to the hotel hallway. We immediately started looking for another place to stay but not a single dog friendly room was left in the town. So we moved our stuff to the car and hoped we didn’t get bedbugs (time will tell, I guess) Staff were friendly every time we interacted with them, which unfortunately could not redeem the horrific accommodations. The reviews saying it had a “complete remodel” are laughable. I wonder if this company has paid for their 5 star reviews. Locals know this is the location Jamestown actively uses to house displaced/homeless individuals and families. While this is such an important service, this can be the only explanation of how poor the hotel’s housekeeping is. How they get away with charging customers $160 a busy weekend night is offensive.

The service was excellent. The linens and facilities were clean. It reaked of cigarettes and the only reason I gave it a low rating on cleanliness is because the chemicals and scent from cigarettes lingered in the carpets and walls. There was a lot of people smoking around the property outside which made it icky to be outside, especially with kids. Our room reaked of pot at one point because guests across the hall were smoking it. Overall, it was cheap and ok to be in once we got used to the smell. You get what you pay for. Was very impressed with the service and friendliness of staff.
