Holiday Inn Roswell, an IHG Hotel

It was nice, clean and safe environment. But my family was in the hot tub and had to jump out of there because of too much chlorine, and made them cough and feel nauseous. That was our only bad experience there, so we don’t know if we should stay there next time.

Our family came in for a memorial service for a family member who had died. I choose a handicap room because I had just had a total knee replacement. Staff were kind and welcoming the entire visit. Our room was exceptionally large and spacious. In fact it could have used a sofa instead of a small chair. The bathroom for a handicap status was very spacious but it was very difficult to get in and out of the tub/shower even with all the extra hand rails. The handicap bathroom should actually have a walk in shower with no barriers to contend with. Overall stay was very nice and we have stayed here several times in the past.

For two nights all we heard until 11pm was some kid running around above us! We complained 4x between two days and then I spoke to the GM finally who admitted “if I was working I would have kicked them out” because he claimed the front desk girl did try to confront the other guests and “it didn’t go very well”. So not only were they not kicked out, the GM didn’t offer to move us or anything. He and the lady who was at the front desk both days had no personality and were rude and could care less. To make matters worse, the outlets on the wall for the fridge, microwave, and coffee machine did not work so we had to move them. We dealt with that problem fine but the ridiculous running of children or whatever it was above us and not stopping our entire visit and then the GM’s care less attitude, is the reason we will never stay at this hotel again. I will also be co tasting corporate about this.

Property was great but I was disappointed that we were accused of stomping and being loud. While I understand it was a guest that assumed it was us when it was actually a kid from another room running up and down the hallway on our floor. I feel like a little investigation would have prevented a false accusation.

Was given a the wrong room from the one I rented online. Also was disappointing to not be able to get pool towels when traveling with the family. The receptionist was not friendly and there was a fight with lots of fowl language from a couple men who were leaving the bar area into the elevator. My family will not stay here again.

We arrived and were greeted by a guy who couldn't wait to go home! - using a common phrase such as - Can't wait, just a few more minutes and I am out of here! We checked in, and he did recommend a good eating house so that was good. When we got back from having dinner, we were greeted by a constant sound of feet/hooves/paws runing, jumping, walls were shanking, ceiling was so loud I had to complain, otherwise we would have got no sleep (after driving all day) I am not one to complain, in fact it has to be really bad before you'll see my at front desk complaining. This time is was rediculous! The gentlemen did advise me he would seak to the guests in the room above us. This is my point, if we dealing with COVID, spread people out a little, especially if they have dogs, kids or cattle in the room!!!! why bundle everyone up together in times like these.... Come on management, you can do better than this, during the night we also had a drunk guy standing outside the elevators screaming at his girlfriend about having affairs... so as you can see, would I ever come back to this hotel... NO!
