Quality Inn And Suites

The hotel was clean and in good condition! The staff was very friendly- the gal who checked us in told us the pool was closed for the season but she would call a sister-hotel and allow my kids to go swim there. It was very kind! Breakfast was great and lots of options.

Great hotel for our family. The Quality Inn is close to everything we needed, easy access to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Staff was friendly and helpful. good breakfast and my grandson really enjoyed the swimming pool.

We stayed on 2nd floor the peak outside blocked our window. People above us had children jumping around and we had to complain to get the noise to stop. Everyone smoked underneath our window and the entire room including our clothes smelled like smoke even though a non smoking room

Good, clean, roomy place to stay. Great beds, HOT showers, space to move around - the rooms are spacious, not cramped. The breakfast was great, and Theresa went above and beyond to keep it stocked and customers happy. Plenty of hot, fresh, and cold items.The management was friendly. We had 4 small kids and this place worked well for us. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

The staff very nice and the room very clean. I’m traveling with my family, this is my 1st visit Carlsbad and we enjoyed our stay. We will back again.

On arrival,the children looked forward to swimming in the pool,however,the pool was green and dirty. Closed. The clerk at front desk wasnt aware that for a small town,the city had a near by lake,where we enjoyed our pedal boats and kayaks,there was so much to do in the park. Breakfast was good.

It was a fantastic experience! We had a minor family emergency and they accommodated us to the extreme. Housekeeping was exceptional. We didn’t eat breakfast but it smelt fantastic. They will be my first choice to stay in Carlsbad!

The front desk person started out with no personality which came off as almost rude considering I was trying to make light of an extremely frustrating situation I was in the middle of dealing with. When we checked in through Expedia, I purposely booked WITH A SUITE because we needed the couch space. The front desk guy obviously saw my reservation, told me "this is the last one" and sent us up to the third floor (THERE IS NOT A WORKING ELEVATOR AND HE THOUGHT IT WAS OK TO MENTION THAT AT THE LAST MINUTE) to a room with was a basic queen. When I called down to discuss this, he said all he saw was that we asked for "mobility accessible". As you can see from this reservation, that's not correct. We were given no options at all. Thankfully Expedia came through and was willing to issue a coupon for future use on behalf of this poor situation. On top of that, being as there was no elevator to carry all our belongings in was a huge struggle for my family. We asked that same gentleman which staircase we should go up that would be closer to our room. We were told "it's right in the middle". 315 is 2 doors away from the LEFT staircase (from when you walk in) so us randomly choosing the right staircase since our room was "right in the middle" ended up making an ugly night even worse. All in all, the hotel ended up being fine. Breakfast was edible, the room was clean EXCEPT the sink smelled like sewage and the ac sometimes started to blow stinky air. We wont be back here.

The property is in a more industrial area and the outdoor pool was closed, so there were no activities for children to have down time at the hotel. Our room was not cleaned at all after our 1st night, but after the 2nd we were given fresh towels and the trash was dumped, which was positive. All of the staff we interacted with seemed friendly.
