Checking in was rough. I reserved two rooms under my name, and the clerk had difficulty finding my second room. She finally did and didn’t apologize or anything. Then, the worst was when they were really rude to my family member at breakfast. She has a service animal and was getting herself breakfast. The service dog clearly has a vet and acts on command. The female employee at breakfast yelled at her that pets could not be in the area. It’s not like the dog was where the food was being prepared. My family member told her, “So am I not allowed to eat?” The employee told her to take it up to the manager. Considering that La Quinta is such a large company, you’d think they’d properly train their employees to be more considerate and professional about individuals with disabilities.

It was honestly terrible. We had booked two nights and only stayed one losing out on a night worth of money but it was well worth it when we moved to a different hotel. The bathroom shower had hair on the walls and writing on the mirror. There's paint splashes on the floor from a terrible paint job in there and nobody bothered to clean it up. The bathroom door handle was coming off the door. The sofa was rockhard and had several cuts in the material. Once we pulled out the bed it springs were awful my son was poked all night long. The rollaway we asked for for my daughter was old and stained and dented and we flipped it over and had to put couch cushions on it just to get her through the night. When I called down for extra towels, we had five people and three towels so I was only asking for two more, The front desk person said there was a shortage of all the linens and if I gave her a little while she would "scrounge some up to wash". We had to ask for bedding for the rollout they brought up when we got the bedding there was no pillow. There was also no pillow for my son on the couch bed. All of the ice machines were either out of ice or not working. and although the pool is open till 10 PM there's practically no lighting out there and it's very dark to keep an eye on your children. After one night we booked it another hotel and quickly moved

Very nice lobby and breakfast area. Room was spacious but seemed like it was getting renovated and not finished. There were some spots on yhe walls that needed painting, a broken tile in the bathroom, the tub faucet would still run a tiny bit when off. There was no clock in the room and one of the tvs was missing a remote. But the room was comfortable and plenty of room for our family of 7, although we had to make some adjustments for sleeping even though it was advertised as able to sleep up to 7 (there was only a king bed and pull-out couch so we had to ask for a rollaway bed and make up another bed with some chairs - but the kids said those were both very comfortable). Front desk service was great. Check in and out were super smooth. The pool was good too, kids thought that was the best part.

Excellent breakfast! Hot and cold options for entire family. Bathroom door did not close and shower was not very good. Handle had to be wrenched to prevent dripping. Had to ask for additional shampoo and towels. Bed was very comfortable!

We booked a room for 2 adults and 3 children. The room only had two queen size beds. Hotel staff brought us a rollaway bed which wouldn't even fit in the room. The manager later told us that they shouldn't have done that because it is a fire hazard. No one seemed interested in helping to remedy the situation. We will never stay there again.

Every thing was good except the my grandkids couldn't enjoy going in the pool because it was not maintained ( was closed for 2 weeks).

On arrival, there was someone on hand only to give us our room key we had to come in late due to traveling by vehicle the hotel was dirty we asked if they had any shampoo, and they said no that they were unfortunately out and didn’t know when they would be getting any. We asked them why did they not mention their pool would not be open they said they had no one to clean the pool. Therefore, we were not even able to enjoy the pool area at all our room had bugs in it I’m sure they were from outside but nonetheless it was not pleasant. There was a problem with the air conditioning it quit working it was very hot. The hot water never came out. We let the shower run for 20 to 25 minutes to get lukewarm water. We had ask if they wouldn’t reimburse us for any of the inconvenience and they said no that was up to Expedia that hotel was filthy. Please get it off your list. We asked if they were going to clean our room. They said oh no you have to ask in advance. No one told us that upon arrival or checking in so needless to say our room did not get service we had to ask for toilet tissue, washcloths and towels never again will I book if I can’t get this resolved through Expedia, the whole smelt because they never seem to throw out the trash that was in the hallways. We had family on three different floors. I’ve booked four rooms, so I was up and down. Like I said this was a nasty hotel. I would never recommend this place ever.

We waited 15 minutes at the front desk to check in. We were told multiple times that someone would help us in a few minutes. Neither employee was wearing anything that would suggest that they worked there. When I asked if the room would allow for a rollaway bed for our youngest I was told no and I explained my confusion about our reservation. I was told there was no way that our family could be accommodated and then they tried to complete our check in. I said I didn't think the situation would work for us. We cancelled our reservation and told that Expedia may charge us anyway. I explained that our reservation confirmation said that there would be no charge for cancellation. The employee simply shrugged and we left. We stayed at the Home2Suites in Carlsbad which did accommodate us and provided helpful and friendly service.
