Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark Cranford

Needed place to stay on long layover before trip to Paris. Stayed for 7 hours. The young kids took showers after we walked in the heat to a drug store! Very happy with location and reasonable pricing.

The staff at the front desk were helpful and nice. We loved the layout of the larger suite which was perfect for myself and my three teenagers/twenty-something children. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Having two bathrooms for all of us was a big plus! The only two downsides were parking which was limited (but there was some street parking) and the breakfast which was completely gone at least an hour to an hour and half before breakfast ended. They did have a pool but it was not open. Other than that everything else was good.

Excellent choice for a family of 6 with ample space and great access to bus travel to New York. Staff did not really know of how to advise on travel to New York but bus service was good and only a couple of feet from Hotel. We travelled from here to the bus terminus in New York just a block away from Times Square. Ideal for travelers not wanting to pay for exorbitant New York Hotel rates. Hotel served a adequate breakfast and takeout meals delivered to the room. All in all a wonderful stay.

I have stayed here a few times I like the 2 bedroom suite so we can spread out and be comfortable. I stay with my 2 adult children and it’s perfect they have their own bathroom and I have a king bed and my own bathroom. It’s convenient to my friends and family that I visit. I like that we have a full kitchen and living area

I have always liked Homewood Suites and this was no different. I was sceptical because they take pets but the place smells nice and no indication of after pets stuff. However, I was totally disappointed because they served the worst breakfast that my family has ever seen. The eggs stink and taste yakky. My boys got sick from just tasting it. It was bad. It is my reason for giving it 3 stars. I hope to visit again, but do better. We did enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for a family of four and it’s more than what I expected. Pleasant experience.

I like the room. I was traveling with family. The room was perfect. I didn’t like that housekeeping did not clean my room. I wasn’t aware I had to request it ahead of time.

We got the 2 bedroom suite it was perfect for us . I traveled with my 2 adult children they had there own bedroom and bathroom. It was great to spread out, loved having a kitchen. Pool was closed indefinitely would have liked to sit around the pool , the outside area was nice had 2 grills and a nice area to sit . Traveled with family that stayed at the hotel also so we had a nice lunch outside

Hotel rooms shows its age. Woke up multiple times to kids jumping on beds upstairs. Sounded like the ceiling was going to fall down. Had to call front desk twice. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Not worth the price

Picked this place over two other hotels thinking it would be a nice fit for my stay of 4 guests for TWO WEEKS. Zero housekeeping service. You have to request it and even if they come they just make the bed and leave. Beds are old and not comfortable at all. They put a super thin sheets on the beds which are horrible. Breakfast is ok. But if you get there by 8:30 they already start putting things away. Front desk staff is useless. To ask for anything feels like you’re just bothering them. Walked up one of the days to get my key card checked since it wasn’t working and before I even made it to the desk the woman working there was already pointing me to the check out lane. Walls are so thin you can hear every conversation in the next rooms. Hotel needs a massive update because what is advertised is not the reality of what you get. In the end I had to check out and check my family into another hotel.
