Comfort Suites at Woodbridge

On a good note: We had a good stay at this property! Our room was upgraded to a king size suite by the front desk clerk (Edwin) because the signature pad operation took longer than expected. We are truly grateful to him for the upgrade. He had also invited us to have hot beverages, fresh fruit, and cold cucumber water after driving a great distance. Now, that’s good customer service! By the way, we slept like a baby. The bed was very comfortable. And, the shower pressure was amazing! On a sad note: Breakfast was not tasty! The attendant on Sunday morning did not put forth any effort in the preparation of breakfast. Some of the link sausages were hard; the eggs were very salty. The orange juice was too sweet. We stopped off at Rahway Bagels to grab a decent and delicious breakfast before heading to our next destination. On a general note: There are nearby eateries, shopping centers, gas stations, etc., in a driving distance. However, there is a convenience market in the front lobby. We did not use the market so unsure about prices. We felt safe in the area and throughout our two day stay.

I would give then 0 out of 5, if I was able to. Issue 1 - Great Mismanagement I booked my hotel booking through Expedia and paid full amount upfront. I got the confirmation number from Expedia, rubber stamping my reservation.Reached the hotel at 11:55 pm since I was travelling from Canada. When I reached there, the desk person told me that reservation exist on my name but the money is not received yet and cannot allocate us the rooms that we reserved. I had to spent 1.5 hr working with Expedia Support to get the issue sorted out in the middle of night with my small kids waiting to get the beds to sleep. Considering, we were travelling with 4 small kids after 10 hr drive fron Canada and going through all this was very frustrating. Issue 2 - Rude Desk Support Personnel There was no support from the desk support person sitting there at night. He was not willing to help us on anything and we were on our own to sort out everything. He was quite rude in the conversation as well. Issue 3 - Terrible Front Desk and Room Service We stayed there for 4 nights and 3 days. Once we were issued the rooms, we requested them to clean the rooms but they said the rooms are cleaned after 3 days as per schedule. That means you will not get any room cleaning service if you are staying there 3-4 days trip. We further requested the refills for Toiletry stuff, towels 4 times but did not get even once. In the end, we have to purchase our own towels and toiletry from poutside. This was unacceptable

Not please about the room I had both sink and tub was clogged and my door for the room the knob came right off not an experience I anticipated was disappointing especially since I had my kids with me

The staff is not reasonable at all. We arrive at midnight and they said there is not room. I have 2 kids with me. If you don’t have room why confirm the booking. This is ridiculous.

I know the idea for a "green" stay was that towels and things wouldn't be changed until every 3rd day, but with me and 2 young kids, we only stayed 3 days and were supposed to use the same 3 towels for the entire stay. Nobody came to clean the room or anything for the whole time we were there. There should at least be an option that if you only stay 3 days, you get some kind of room cleanup on day 2 or something.
